Probably because they don’t know what any of it really means. To be fair, there’s a whole larger-than-cottage legal industry that focuses exclusively on copyrights, trademarks, patents and intellectual property of all stripes. There’s a lot more to it than a handful of Wiki pages, which usually is what confuses most people.

I mean at $150K per Copyright violation for a project which takes almost everything from various Copyrighted properties, they'd have to have 600 instances to get to $100m.

My God I really hate those uniforms. The collar is so wrong-looking. Why didn't they just stick with the Cage-era tunics? They looked much better in almost every measurable way...
