What games are you playing currently?

I had to follow a guide in order to get as far as I did with the first one. It's just something about the questing structure and the fact that the descriptions tell you so little as to what you should be doing, often even contradicting themselves. Quests in the first game were often treated as standalone, but the reality is that most of them were different steps towards the main quest, causing much confusion when it came to certain quests in the quest log if you tried doing them before they were able to trigger.

If you loved Journey you will love ABZU

I played that and it was an amazing visual feast. Lovely game.

Also Submerged is a wonderful little game.

Abzu was next on my list after playing Journey, but I’m in the middle of a Samurai Jack binge watch and wanted to play a sword fighting game...can’t wait for new SJ game though.

I decided yesterday that I’ll pick up Abzu this weekend cuz I want to play through the whole game in one sitting like I did with Journey. Will check out submerged as well.

I think everyone should play GTA V at least once just to experience it.

The map is huge, though recently there has been bigger. But yeah I think everyone should experience it at least once.

I played it and finished it on Xbox One (put QUITE a few hours into it too). Definitely agree everyone should play it at least once. I'm tempted to play it again to see what the graphics are like on PC. They looked really good on Xbox, I could only imagine what they look like on PC :)

Just don't play GTA 4... It's not very well optimized for PC and can be sluggish. The car driving is the worst if you are not using a controller.

EDIT: I just had my console on my desk for the last couple of days to play Journey since it's not a PC game. That was a fantastic experience..... I loved the game, the story, the visuals, got two achievements and got to the end of the game....... Will definitely do this one again. Just wish it was a PC game.

It did get ported to PC in June of last year, but it was an Epic exclusive for a while and will be coming to Steam on June 11th.

But yeah, that game was a great experience. I wasn't sure what to expect and it took me a while to figure what I needed to do, so it was great to have a gameplay partner help each other as we went along.

I just don't like Epic's marketing methods and part chinese ownership.

Yeah, me neither, to be honest. I was just pointing out that it was available on PC. But Epic's idea of competition is to grab as many exclusives as possible which I frown on. PC games should technically be platform agnostic, and making exclusives via stores like that one is like putting up walls. Unless it's a game owned and developed by said company, they really shouldn't be exclusives. It just ends up pissing people off.

Yeah well I remember when they were a small company called Epic Megagames and they made their money off lots off DOS games and shareware.

Yeah, I remember those days too. Jazz Jackrabbit and there was a fairly good pinball game they had. In those days they were simply a publisher.

Don't forget Zargon, Jill Of The Jungle, Epic Pinball.

Oh here's one.

Yeah, Epic Pinball's the one I was trying to remember, only I forgot the name. Turns out it wasn't too hard :D It had some really cool tables for its time. I don't really remember Zargon, maybe because I never played it, but I do remember Jill of the Jungle. There was also Ken's Labyrinth, and the guy who made that was the one who made the Build engine, most famous for Duke 3D and Blood.

I got my hands on AC:NH. It's alright. I can't remake Manhattan so I'll make a Arthurian Dark Age Island of Avalon instead down the road. But mostly I just want to play something; the laptop doesn't cut it anymore.

AC:NH?

I just finished Journey again but in under an hour.

If you take the 3rd door in the desert where you get your long scarf you get transported to just before the end game. Random player was with me and I got two more trophies because they didn't leave or die.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Now you manage a whole island; I've decided to go for a Dark Age Arthurian look down the line since I can't recreate a little New York City.

Winding down on Control, now I'm torn between starting Assassin's Creed Odyssey (can't WAIT for Valhalla!), The Last of Us (I've tried this game three separate times, couldn't get into it), Quantum Break (made by the same team as Control) or The Witcher III.

Also tempted to install Farming Simulator 19 since it's free on PlayStation Plus, just for shits and giggles. I'm really curious if you can tear ass around a farm with the tractor and wreak havoc

Oh yeah that looks neat on the ads. But I'd have to shell out for a Switch to get it and don't really want to buy another console, but it does look nice.

@Turd Ferguson Hey hi.. What's quantum break like? I keep looking at the game but keep deciding to pass on it but the idea and story kind of interest me, plus it's got the girl from Control in it.

Been playing Mario Maker 2 lately along with Pokemon Shield, Cat Quest, Stardew Valley and played some Animal Crossing New Leaf and Tomodachi Life last night.

Ordered Animal Crossing New Horizons yesterday and hoping to pick it up from Walmart on the 13th. :)
