Post a DIFFICULT Star Trek trivia question

Well you certainly have given it more thought than I have! -- but I consider that still to be Spock no matter who is possessing him. I guess I should have said 7 actors if I wanted to have been more precise.
So I won't drag out the annoyance any longer. The seventh Vulcan to speak in an episode was The Voice of "Vulcan space Central". As heard in the episode amok time.
That was voiced by voiceover specialist Walker edmiston who was the original voice of the Keebler Elf. Walker edmiston also dubbed some of actor Harry Townes lines in Return of the archons for the outdoor scenes where apparently there was noise and his lines had to be re-recorded and the actor wasn't available.

You did a better job of answering than I did asking I suppose.

Since most since most of you guys who come to these forms are aces in trivia I'm just going to throw in two.

Walker edmiston and Gene Roddenberry are two of only a handful of voice-over actors who spoke in the original series but did not also show up as physical actors. Surprisingly almost every actor who did a voice over eventually showed up or originally had appeared as an actual in person actor. That list is very long including James Doohan, Malachi throne, Bart LaRue, Elizabeth Rogers, Barbara Babcock, Vic Perrin, Etc.
So a double question what episode did Gene Roddenberry have a voice over and name any other voiceover actor who did not actually appear physically in an episode.
Just for clarification I'm not talkin about anybody who might have voiced any of those background voices that we hear occasionally on the bridge -- "gravity is down to .7"
I'm talking about a voiceover where there was a single person speaking over an intercom or some such device.

In which episode do Kirk, Spock and a guest star utter the same exact line at different times during the show?

 

I hope it's an important line and not something cheesy like Warp 7. Where Kirk says it at one point and Spock says it at one point and a guest Helmsman says it later! LOL

 

I have no idea but I will make a wild guess and say something like live long and prosper spoken by Kirk Spock and iSurak in Savage curtain

 

I'll come up with another one in the meantime. You only get one guess on this.
How many episodes did Starfleet shuttlecraft appear in in the original series and what were they? I'm not counting any shuttles they may have added in in the remastered versions for the exterior shots.

 

No. It’s actually phrased as a question by all 3 actors. After watching the episode for decades I finally noticed that the line was the same. There appears to be different emphasis added by each actor, but word for word it is the same spoken line.

Bonus hint : 3rd season

 

Okay there was a line in Spock's brain where Cara says pumping blood circulating air Etc and then Kirk says the same and then later Spock says the same as well.

 

Nope I'm wrong. I checked the episode and Kirk' says it and Spock says it but Kara does not say it

 

Gene Roddenberry voiced the chef in "Charlie X" who put meat loaf in the ovens and later found turkeys, real turkeys. And in "What are Little Girls Made Of?" he can be heard on the bridge intercom saying "Communicator, we need more lines to the impulse deck."

I don't know who the other never-seen voice actor might be. I was going to guess Bart La Rue, but that's not it.

 

Correct on the Roddenberry voice-over. Obviously there probably were a handful of people who had voice overs that did not appear on screen in any other role but the one that stands out is an actor named Robert C. Johnson who was the voice of the mission impossible tape instruction that was at the beginning of virtually every episode of Mission Impossible. He dubbed over the voice of the transporter operator in the cage and I believe he was the voice of one of the providers in gamesters. There may have been one or two more significant actors who did a voice-over and didn't appear. There was a rumor that the actor John Astin did the voice of Captain Daly in conscience of the king but I have no confirmation of that and it's also been said that actor Paul Carr who played Kelso in where no man has gone before did the voice of the denevan who crashed into the sun but that's also never been confirmed.

 

A trivia question that's more like an opinion is Who was the clumsiest actor in the history of the original series? LOL. And the answer to the question is Cesar belli the son of Melvin belli who played the Gorgon. Another trivia question would be how many times does Steve O'Connell-- his character -- slip stumble or fall in the episode? Well let's put it this way if you were to have a drinking game where you had to take a shot every time he slipped stumbled or fell in the episode you would pass out before act one was over.

 

Extra Bonus Hint :

Kirk says it first.
Shortly thereafter Spock says it, too.
Then a female alien says it towards the end of the episode as she questions Kirk’s actions.

All phrased as a question.

 

Oh, that's "For what purpose?" by Kirk, Spock and Vanna from TCM. I've noticed that before too. Margaret Armen (or whoever did a doctor job on the script, if anyone) really had that phrase on the brain.

Great job most of the time people forget the return of the archons because he doesn't actually say what he's doing and it looks like they edited part of it away for time
