Correction: Smaller shops of up to 800 square meters (as well larger bookstores, bicycle dealers, public archives and... car dealers? Fucking German politics) will be allowed to open on Monday. Schools will open gradually, as described above, on May 4th, when hairstylists will be allowed to re-open, as well*. Restaurants, theaters and zoos will remain closed.

Also, the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia has announced to allow furniture stores to open on Monday.

*Seriously, what is it with the German government and hairstylists? They were initially included in essential businesses, now this. Guess what service needs to get really close to your head, where you can't wear a protective mask? I swear, they must have a more powerful lobby than we all thought.

It would help a little, and that's the least they can do, but you, as you're getting your hair cut, can't wear a mask. Same way I have to take my glasses off to get a haircut, you can't wear a mask.
