Wow. She even manages to be annoying and over-act in a 5 second trailer clip where all she has to do is hold a flag and look up.
I’m super excited I hope it comes soon, before Lower Decks. Does the planet she’s on look a bit like Vulcan?
LOL we really are back in the swing of things, aren't we? 16 second preview showing Michael Burnham standing by a flagpole. "Ergh, Michael is such a Mary Sue and SMG is The Worst Actress Ever. All the proof is Right There. Now someone tell me where all the White Men are."
16 second preview showing her over-acting as usual. That's all I'm saying. Hopefully she won't be the centre of the universe for a third season in a row.
Seriously? That's your argument? The Mandalorian is literally a show about one person, and he isn't the centre of the universe. He's just a guy trying to make his way. Just because a series is centred on one character doesn't mean everyone and everything needs to revolve around them. Are you saying they had no choice but to have Burnham a) start the Klingon war b) stop it c) be the red angel that saves the galaxy? All in the space of 30 episodes?
Because...reasons... Yeah, I got nothing. Burnham is fine as a character. She is doing the stereotypical Trek bit of "saving civilization as we know it one more time."Picard just did the same thing.
Captains put in positions of power. Picard in charge of the Federation flagship. Sisko in charge of the wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant and the emissary of Bajor. Janeway leading the sole Federation starship in the Delta quadrant. She didn't do anything approaching what Burnham did anyway. Burnham is a science officer on a couple of random ships. And Picard, Sisko and Janeway didn't start a war, solve a war and save the galaxy in the space of one 25-30 episode season like Burnham has. I'm not sure what was more cringe-worthy, the revelation that Burnham was the red angel or the plot twist that Section 31 built the angel suit. Discovery writing in a nutshell
We get it....you don't like her. Your post is just silly.........she's looking down and then glances up. Most likely taking direction from a 2nd AD off camera.
