Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

My son works in a grocery store. He was doing his cleaning routine but it took longer than usual because people kept coming up to try to sneak his cleaning supplies off the cart.
Where does he live? I hope not in Washington. I still have some hope for our state, though I just can't get over the whole hording of T.P. and all. I think some people may find when this is all over. They have T.P. and other things for months now! Crazy that is!! But if my dad were still alive, I think he would have done some of that too. So what can I say?

I am wondering if anyone else is doing a journal for this COVID-19 experience? A friend said it could help me work out my feelings. I don't know about the rest of you but my feelings are all over the place these days. Nothing in my life since has prepared me for this. This is history we are all living right now. One day kids will learn about this in school. I wonder what the books will say about this? About how we are dealing with this......

Why do so many YouTube vlogs end with "That's all for now, see you in the next video!"??? No, you won't see ME in your next video. I'll see you, of course, if I bother to click on the link, but I'm not getting in front of a camera any time soon.

He lives in eastern North Carolina. People are used to hoarding batteries, water, and paper products, etc in hurricane season (which starts next month) but this is a first for outside hurricane season. Through this panicked hoarding, people have created the very situation that they feared.

Had to go out tonight to pick up some groceries and household supplies. First time out of the house in the last six days. Because of my SAD, I usually feel anxious when going out. But this time, it was more like outright fear.

Intellectually, I know that doesn't help anything, but I couldn't stop myself either. I should probably lay off all the news coverage for a bit, but I know I'm not going to do that either.

The horrors of eventual food shortages and possible violence and starvation aside, I’m secretly enjoying being frugal and inventive in the kitchen, for now.

yeah, lets hope there won't be any shootouts in god's on country - that'd be rather ugly.

Hearing about people under lockdown having a hard time of it. I know this is going to rough for those with a unhappy homelife under normal circumstances, but everyone else? There are so many instantaneous entertainment options available. There is so much I could be doing, the time for creativity.
It takes all sorts I suppose.
