She wanted to unify androids against organics and support her plan of summoning the Admonition synthetic dudes to wipe out the organics. And the consensus seems to be that Sutra is the one who killed the android but Narek took the blame which was part of the plan.
242 ships x 150 crew = 36,300 Romulans vs 20 Androids, Soong, PIcard + Friends.

Are there more androids on that planet than we have seen?

Factually he's not wrong. That's what the hardcore Roddenberry Vision enthusiasts can sound like. What doesn't fit that largely retconned and more fleshed-out and explained worldview isn't "real" Star Trek.

Star Trek didn't stop existing when DS9 premiered in 1993. Just sayin'.
Oh yeah? Then where did my VHS tapes go?
Nevermind, turns out I replaced them with DVDs. ;)

You certainly typed a lot of words. Congrats.
That's not canon. I refuse to accept that words were typed. YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!

Something I noticed on the rewatch:

When they first meet the androids Arcana says they have 10 orchids but can make more. Shortly later Sutra says they have 23 orchids. So they can make these pretty fast and it may help with the Romulan battle. The preview for next episode does show orchids in action.

btw, giant orchids as a defensive weapon is pretty clever and a fantastic visual effect. Props to whoever thought of it.

Shoulda stopped there.
Aw, c'mon. :rommie:

That scene couldn't help reminding me of...

"The Horga'hn is for a friend."
"I see...someone close to you."
"That's right."
"Someone you love."
"I wouldn't go that far."
Certainly not at that moment. :rommie:

"With a different meaning since you've been gone ... "

(Sorry, couldn't resist. ;))
Now that's the spirit. :rommie:

She did it once. She can do it again. :)
I don't know if she can get it off the ground, but she can probably shoot at Romulan Angrybirds in orbit.

"Weirdly bitter" tends to be a pretty common state in Trek fandom.
It's a good description of the 21st century.

I like that ENT didn't retcon the multicolored food cubes and just carried on without any explanation of what they were. ;)

I can't see Seven sending a distress signal to the Borg (the Borg can't be too pleased with her for killing a Queen and destroying a transwarp hub in "Endgame").
To quote some famous guy "The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few...or the one"...Seven seems to embody this ideal...she's selfless. However, you might be right in the sense that inviting the Borg would only put the synths at risk of potential assimilation (and advancing the Borg significantly). That said, perhaps Seven is aware that Data wasn't/couldn't be assimilated by the Borg Queen (First Contact) - she might think it odds worth taking.

A Borg rescue army to wipe out the Romulan fleet. Interesting plot. But after they've arrived, what'll be the consequences for Starfleet/rest of the galaxy??:shrug:
...Season 2!! I also think the Borg's interest may be in accelerating development of AI (hence Soji's Borg knowledge & proximity of conduit) in order for the Seb-Cheneb to come, so that it can be assimilated...as the Borg have no hubris.

It’s funny how offended you guys get by this. As if my not liking or acknowledging part of the franchise is going to make it disappear. Again, it’s entertainment. Chill out. ;)
