It's 83 F degrees out.
What makes the crab angry? The fact that you're eating it with linguini?
Right now it is just great to do something "normal" went for a walk with friends. The official walk was cancelled because of the virus. But we did it anyway. And it was nice to do. Then went out to eat. That is what will get me through all of this just the little moments like this.

If you need to desinfect hands or surfaces, any sort of alcohol will do the trick, as long as you dilute it down to 80% (higher or lower rates won't kill the virus). Have a look at the camping/outdoors section of the supermarket or DIY: methylated spirits will do the trick as nicely as any (expensive) desinfectant. Let it dry on skin and surface and then wash with plenty of water and soap or dishwasher detergent since methylated spirits taste extremely bitter and you'd otherwise have the horrid taste on everything you touch.
You need to move, immediately.
I'm feeling a bit like a prisoner. Everything I do has been canceled. I understand why this is necessary, I just worry I'm going to go crazy.
I know. Hubby’s work (teacher) is off three weeks I’m off another week at least; home since last week with a sinus infection so I can’t even drink for the antibiotics. *sighs*

I had one of those around New Year (and the stupid PA tried to insist I had influenza, I had to beg for antibiotics), the pain can be just awful.

I can deal with not having NBA or races and things like that, but the no human contact part is unbearable.
Like, if the occasional short small group hangout at a nice reputable uncrowded hygienic restaurant is what it takes to retain sanity in a state of comfy solitary confinement, I don’t think it’s a huge risk.

Most of our bods did the working from home thing today, though we are getting mixed messages about the whole thing.
We’ve not had the official word yet, but the Boris advice tonight is no unnecessary contact. Basically, stay home if you can.
Normally I prefer working at home, but now I feel to restless to get anything done.
