How would watching a Joe Pesci movie explain why explain why it's annoying when Clancy, Jurati, and Till curse.

If you don't actually have a reason beyond that it gets your panties in a twist, that's OK. Just one of those personal taste things. But then you liking it when Pesci does it is not particularly relevant. Watching such a film will not make me understand the Trek-relevant part of your statement.

Edit: you're doing that thing where it isn't enough to just have a personal taste, but you also need to pretend like there's a reason for it.which others would recognize if they only thought about the issue properly. Never works.

Hearing that the admiral is played by Ann Magnuson fucking blows my mind. She looks so different on Picard from what I'm used to.

I was waiting for her to pull the Malcolm Tucker "Fuckity-bye!" when signing off with Picard.

That just sounds too much of a British turn of phrase to me.
