Correct, my friend! The tribal elder, from TPS.

Clue # 1
Considering my position, I don't have the emotionalism that one beneath me has, to our guest. My feeling is opposite to said other.
The Elder appears to be the leader of the tribe, yet he has none of the cynicism or envy that Salish has. If anything, he appears delighted at Kirok's presence.
Clue # 2
I have one role, but that role appears to include an other undertaking; not surprising, given my primary role.
It looks like he initiates at Kirok and Miramanee's wedding.
Clue # 3
Sometimes I am seen with an object.
The stick.
Clue # 4
I am absent at the conclusion of my episode. Perhaps my secondary undertaking includes yet another role which might occur soon after the episode finishes.
It's likely he performed a funeral or burial of some sort, for Miramanee.
Clue # 5
I interact with only one of our heroes.
Kirk.
Clue # 6
Whilst I am in charge, one beneath me is influential with his opinions.
Salish.
Clue # 7
I touch Kirk in a way that hasn't been seen before or since.
I think it's the only time we see someone paint Kirk's face.
Clue # 8
I may well hold a neutral stance on the situation me and mine face ourselves in.
He pleads with Kirok to save his people, but on screen we see no resentment, nor is he there during the stoning.
Clue # 9
I show deference to our guest, perhaps because I have more faith than the others. After the episode ends, however, this may be open to interpretation.
Whether or not he still believes Kirok is a God or that the obelisk is a temple, or indeed if his faith has been tested, is left open at the end.
