Game Name That Star Trek CHARACTER

The tribal elder, from TPS.
Correct, my friend! :)

Clue # 1
Considering my position, I don't have the emotionalism that one beneath me has, to our guest. My feeling is opposite to said other.

The Elder appears to be the leader of the tribe, yet he has none of the cynicism or envy that Salish has. If anything, he appears delighted at Kirok's presence.

Clue # 2
I have one role, but that role appears to include an other undertaking; not surprising, given my primary role.

It looks like he initiates at Kirok and Miramanee's wedding.

Clue # 3
Sometimes I am seen with an object.

The stick.

Clue # 4
I am absent at the conclusion of my episode. Perhaps my secondary undertaking includes yet another role which might occur soon after the episode finishes.

It's likely he performed a funeral or burial of some sort, for Miramanee.

Clue # 5
I interact with only one of our heroes.

Kirk.

Clue # 6
Whilst I am in charge, one beneath me is influential with his opinions.

Salish.

Clue # 7
I touch Kirk in a way that hasn't been seen before or since.

I think it's the only time we see someone paint Kirk's face.

Clue # 8
I may well hold a neutral stance on the situation me and mine face ourselves in.

He pleads with Kirok to save his people, but on screen we see no resentment, nor is he there during the stoning.

Clue # 9
I show deference to our guest, perhaps because I have more faith than the others. After the episode ends, however, this may be open to interpretation.

Whether or not he still believes Kirok is a God or that the obelisk is a temple, or indeed if his faith has been tested, is left open at the end.

The bridge is yours, Phaser Two :)

Sarek?
1. His debates of note in the episode are against Ambassador Gav of Telluride. "Tellarites do not argue for reasons. They simply argue."

1. I never get tested against a logical opponent.
2. I directly interact with one primary character extensively, and others less so but still significantly.

Apollo?
1. Apollo does not invite Spock down to meet him.
2. Spends time ordering Kirk around, etc. (Actually, he spends most of time with Lt. Carolyn Palamas. :adore:)

1. I never get tested against a logical opponent.
2. I directly interact with one primary character extensively, and others less so but still significantly.
3. If one officer had listened to another, I wouldn't have had the chance to offer up such an interesting conclusion.

Flint?

1) Kirk/the ship are not logical creatures, and in reality are no equal match for Flint or his intellect or physical strength.
2) Primarily converses with Kirk, but also Spock and McCoy.
3) If Spock had indeed prevented Kirk from entering the lab, by going in alone, the truth surrounding the mysteries of the episode would never have been revealed.

I . . . am Brahms. The test of power. You had no chance.

1. I never get tested against a logical opponent.
2. I directly interact with one primary character extensively, and others less so but still significantly.
3. If one officer had listened to another, I wouldn't have had the chance to offer up such an interesting conclusion.
4. In fact, the sequence of events described in Clue #3 occurs twice, but entirely different officers are involved.

Gem?
1) She never gets tested against Spock (or other empaths), only Kirk and McCoy are used by the Vians.
2) She interacts with Kirk the most, I'd say.
3) If Kirk had listened to Scott and beamed back aboard, Gem and the experiment would never have happened
4) If McCoy had listened to Spock's caution, the trio may not have gone near Gem.

You have made the ancient guess. You claim the right [or the wrong in this case].

[dramatically and expressively shakes head no]

5. To paraphrase James Taylor, deep reds and golds are the colors I choose . . . .

The ship's computer, as in "Court Martial"?

Gary Mitchell?
1. I never get tested against a logical opponent.
Spock never really directly confronts Mitchell, and he was in a more emotional phase at this time anyway.
2. I directly interact with one primary character extensively, and others less so but still significantly.
He converts Dehner. Alternately he's Kirk's oldest friend. He has lots of little scenes with other characters, what with being first officer and all.
3. If one officer had listened to another, I wouldn't have had the chance to offer up such an interesting conclusion.
Jim, you must kill him. - Spock

umm...
5. To paraphrase James Taylor, deep reds and golds are the colors I choose . . . .
Sounds like the uniform colors of that episode.
