I've never heard of Battlestar before, that makes me think he must not have made many appearances in the comics.
Cle Bennet was also The Ash, the leader of the Fae, in the first season of Lost Girl.

He was John Walker's "Bucky". In fact he was called Bucky for a short while. Until the negative association between the word buck and African-Americans was brought to Marvel's attention.
At this rate I expect Jack Monroe and William Burnside to show up.

He's only had one big story he featured in, the "Captain America No More!" saga from 1987 when Steve resigned and John Walker took over. After that he basically was in limbo until he made a semi-comeback during the Civil War stories in the mid 2000s.

Originally, he took the Bucky name and wore Bucky's costume. But then someone pointed out to the writer that "Buck" was a derogatory name for a black man in some parts of the country so he gave him a new costume and changed the name to Battlestar.

There are even pictures of propaganda posters from the show now, saying "Cap is Back!".

I dunno if that means they'll try to say Walker was Steve's chosen successor, or if they'll actually try to say he IS Rogers.

Can he have sidekicks named Galactica and Pegasus?

The new rumour is that Cavill will play Wolverine in the Captain Marvel 2.

That would be something.

At this point Marvel is just taking everything, including people DC used to have, and saying "look how we can turn anything into gold."

Or it feels more like marvel trying to hide the fact they cant come up with anything fresh or new. the MCU is boring and tiring. they have hardly had any great cinematic movie. Scorsese hit the nail on the head when he compared them to theme parks.

Its just sucks to see X-Men will become dumbed down and disneyfied when they join the MCU

Nope.

Like he has any room to talk, all he makes is gangster theme park movies.

IE, actually unashamed for once.

Yeah, I think at this point the majority of people would probably agree that Marvel's hit to miss ratio is a lot higher than the X-Men's.

I'm going to have to disagree here, if anything it sounds like they're trying to do some different kinds of things with on the movie front with The Eternals and especially Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, and it's pretty clear that Wandavision is going to be completely unlike anything we've seen from them yet.
I'll admit some of the origin movies did end up a little similar, but I think they've done a pretty good job of changing things up a bit more with their sequels.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree here.
