Rizzo may be the weakest supporting character yet developed for CBS Trek.
Rizzo is often imagined as a space Cersei, but I think she won't make it that far as a 'Game of Thrones' character....

I wish they'd ditch Narek, Jurati, Raffi (ok, I'm willing to wait for her a bit longer... so not Raffi yet), moustache twirling Rizzo, and Elnor (whom I initially found endearing, but is just getting on my nerves now.. got it, good ninja samurai. Now shut up and go play somewhere else). See, now we got room for other characters, new or old!
Btw., how did Seven's Fenris ranger contact card end up for Elnor to find on the cube?! Wtf?
Yet, the omelette survived.[*Vaporizes Neelix and then you*]
I wonder if something happened to the Ba'ku planet. I previously questioned why Picard's diagnosis was necessarily a death sentence if he could just go to Ba'ku and cure himself (though, as I understand it, he'd have to remain on the planet or else he'd just get sick again). Now it also seems as though it wasn't an option for Will and Deanna's son either.
NO. Read again, please.soooooo...you want to get rid of the new characters just to save the legacy characters? it's this kind of conservatism in media consumption that I will never understand.
yeah that stuff is clearly a misconception, missing out on most of the important parts that made Cersei a great character and focusing on the incest part...which isn't even in PIC. Rizzo just violates Narek's personal space to threaten himRizzo is often imagined as a space Cersei
so you wanna get rid of MOST of the new characters to save SOME of the legacy characters, gotya.NO. Read again, please.
It's not my fault when they leave those of the new characters I like in vinyards or on Vashti. Plus, Rios, btw.
And I don't vote for the Trois to join the regular cast, even though I like them. So please don't project.
Helloooo Chakotay, Wesley,...
Me: Well, at least they're not going to kill off Seven, she's a fan favorite
Spock: I would like a word.
I assume Picard left it there knowing that only Hugh or possible Elnor would find it it they needed it.Btw., how did Seven's Fenris ranger contact card end up for Elnor to find on the cube?! Wtf?
feel free to do that. I just doubt the "better" characters part when it comes to IchebFor better characters, old or new, as I wrote.
You clearly read what you want to read.I'll just do the sme.
From the trailer, I think she activates the Borg cube by becoming its queen in a desperate attempt to stop the Romulans killing the XBs. That would be a hell of a challenge after her speech with Picard but when you're formerly one of unimatrix 01, you do what you gotta do. Trying to disconnect should be a challenge if that's what happens to her.Being an ex-Borg seems to make you marked for dead in this series., because so many fans will riot if she doesn't surviveI hope the trailers are wrong and Seven survives next episode![]()
I wouldn't riot, but probably lose interest... I mean, they already remind us every episode that Picard is a walking dead...Being an ex-Borg seems to make you marked for dead in this series., because so many fans will riot if she doesn't surviveI hope the trailers are wrong and Seven survives next episode![]()
Yes, I'm fine with him being different, old, full of regrets, out of touch, and doomed to die.. But he basically admitted to being a bumbling old fool who doesn't have the slightest idea what he's doing. That's a bit much and, for me, not really compelling.that Man you remember Twenty-some odd years later.
With a butt-load of hardships under his belt and a gut full of anguish for not doing the right thing.
Good points. I wasn't worried for the Riker/Trois, though.I was bummed to see Hugh killed, mostly because I liked him and hoped he'd be a recurring character...but also because it was the typical "We have no use for this character anymore so let's kill him for shock value" trope. I also hate when a character would otherwise be alive and well but because our hero came upon them, they're dead.
Yeah, go back to the episode and read what I wrote about Icheb.feel free to do that. I just doubt the "better" characters part when it comes to Icheb
yes, it served several purposes:did we really need to know about invented languages
no. I react to posts, not to posters. If a post is silly, I really don't care if the same poster who posted said silly post made the most awesomest post a couple of weeks before. sorry.Yeah, go back to the episode and read what I wrote about Icheb.
