So no Newsroom, no Penny Dreadful no Mr. Mercedes, no Snowpiercer, no Scott Pigrim Vs. the World, no Hail Caesar, no American Horror Story, no Merlin, Musketeer or Merlin (for Cabrera), and Michelle Hurd's been around alot as well, Daredevil, Blindspot, Hawai 5-0, Ash vs. the Evil Dead. These are actors who have all been in a whole lot more than any TNG actor in the past 10 years including Stewart.

michelle Hurd was in Scott Pilgram? I haven’t seen that movie but it was on one of the streaming services I have. I was thinking about it though.

I guess this is what it means by peak TV. You can have regular acting gigs in multiple movies and TV series across multiple genres including scifi for over a decade and Star Trek fans will have never heard of you or seen your work.
Nah, I'm just outside the target demo for most. In the last ten years I have had two kids, got my Master's degree and my wife survived a chronic illness. I went from barely scraping by to being able to build a house. TV has not been a priority.

The top list is Alison Pill. I pointed out Hurd's list after her name (Hurd was also on ER for a while. She was Carrie's firefighter girlfriend before being killed off but that was more than 10 years ago)

I've seen a couple, Scott Pilgrim and Hail Caesar!, but I don't remember the actors. They didn't make much of an impression on me.

Ahh so thats where I have seen Cabrera before on Merlin when he played Lancelot.

I knew I had seen Micheele Hurd somewhere before as well, it was on Daredevil.

Neither of them has ever really made it big though.

I might still check it out. I think Jurati is my favorite of the new characters and Pill is doing a great job with her.

I didn't even know Alden Ehrenreich had been in Hail Caesar! until somebody mentioned it after he was cast in Solo.

I suppose that happens. If you had seen Snowpiercer I doubt Alison would not have left an impression. She probably had the single most memorable scene in the whole movie.

I know my wife has seen Snowpiercer and has made no comment about recognizing Alison Pill. My wife recognizes everyone and isn't shy about telling me right in the middle of the show.

Ask her if she remembers the pregnant schoolteacher's song scene in Snowpiercer. That was Alison.

I will admit to not remembering a whole lot of actors and actresses as well until they've made an impact on me in movies or TV series I've watched.
It's not unusual. The human brain can only handle so much information. But, even my old retail boss struggled with names and faces with returning customers. He could recognize the face but the name would always escape him. He eventually came across an article that supported that he wasn't "just an asshole" (as he put it).

I agree. When I was a kid in school it would take me months to put all the names of my classmates to their faces. My only point here is that the cast of Picard, with the exception of the kid playing Elron, has been pretty busy over the last decade as actors across a spectrum of genres as compared to most TNG alumni. The only well known TNG actor who's been as busy as them really is Michelle Forbes whose been in a whole lot of stuff.
