Worf being seen isn't confirmed yet.

Kurtzman simply said it was possible and that IF Worf does show up, he'll pretty much look the same as he did in TNG/DS-9.

The only character confirmation we have gotten Officially so far for Season 2 is Whoopie as Guinan.

We don't even know if RIker & Troi will be back.

Both Riker and Dianna have been seen in trailers. I think it would be a bit illogical to go through all that work if they weren’t going to be seen in the show lol. Either way, since most viewers of Picard are tng fans, I feel it wouldn’t be very smart for the producers not to include mentions or appearances from the tng cast.

I think Davey meant in Season 2. lol.

I haven't done the math, but I'm actually a little surprised Riker isn't still in Starfleet. We don't know how long, really, he was in command of the Titan, but one would guess quite a while. Then promotion to the admiralty. With his decorated career, I'm sure they would want him in the higher ranks. I wonder if may be he resigned in support of Jean-Luc. That would be reasonable.

Or I guess, since we know from the trailers, he has a family now and just wanted to spend his later years taking care of them. I think I just answered my own question. LOL.

I would imagine at this point that Beverly would be done with being on a ship and is a high level officer with Star Fleet Medical. I do hope she comes back in some way.

It's 20 years since Nemesis (2399 for Picard is confirmed via latest episode). Riker could have done 2 five year missions and then spent 5 years or more as an Admiral after that for all we know. We're already 4 years past the future of All Good Things even.

Yes, I was talking about Season 2.
Worf isn't going to be in this season.

We know he left the Enterprise in 2381 and retired sometime in 2385.

Riker should still be in command. Just taking a sabbatical.
Riker would be 64 as of Picard, and could have taken early retirement. 20 years of command is long enough, longer than Archer commanded the NX-01, longer than Janeway commanded Voyager, and longer than Pike commanded the Enterprise. Kirk's command dates are unclear after TPM.

The Phantom Menace???

After the way fandom has treated him, who can blame him? He's living his best life.

(As an aside, Wheaton is now older than Patrick Stewart was when TNG premiered. I feel old typing that )
Except he's hosting the aftershow for Picard, "The Ready Room", so he is very much involved in the franchise... To be fair he may not be interested in coming back as Wesley specifically.

I may be in the minority in this opinion, but Dr. Crusher is right up there with Travis Mayweather as the person with the least-interesting personality in all of Star Trek.

I kind of disagree. I’m a bit biased because she is my favorite, but I have to admit she wasn’t particularly interesting. I look to her as a strong female figure, and I think she is pretty good at her job, and I think I like her personality because it’s real. Other characters seem to interesting to the point where I feel the fake ness, but with Beverly, even though she is a bit uninteresting, I feel like she’s relatable. If that makes any sense?

... and in this weeks The Ready Room he very much expresses his great interest in this show and expressed how cool would it be to be a part of it once again in his conversation with Akiva Goldsman.

I always did like Crusher, and would love to have her back in theory...but I saw a couple of pics of Gates McFadden at the Picard premiere, and I was really taken aback. Literally my first thought was that she looked sick. She looks emaciated and malnourished, with an almost grayish pallor. Like, seriously ill.

I really hope there’s nothing wrong with her and maybe she was just getting over the flu or something, but after I saw her, I figured she probably wouldn’t be appearing on Picard...

She has been fighting cancer over the last year or so.
She had some kind of surgery back in late Nov early Dec.

The older we get the harder it is to get over surgery and it's takes longer to heal.

Recent posts on her Twitter account seem to indicate that she is recovering nicely though.

Dang I never knew that! I’m glad she’s doing better though!
