Or Teresa May for more contemporary audiences :D.

Barbara Stanwyck's latter role (i.e., in "The Thorn Birds") was so creepy. I guess they're going to make this Admiral to be Admiral Satie 2.0 ;);).
I wonder what Star Fleet is going to look like when all this is over.

How many times can an organization be infiltrated by the enemy before folks start not trusting anybody?
Doesn't bode well for the Federation.

When the Romulan mentions that Picard can't go alone and needs help, he suggests Picard call Riker, Worf, or Geordi.
Well, we know from the trailers that eventually Jean-Luc does have to go to Riker for help.

I wonder if it's before or after he meets Captain Rios?

Well we all remember the Romulan plan in TNG to infiltrate Federation society thru Vulcan. I suspect the Commodore may be a part of that. Is she a Vulcan? Section 31 operative? A Romulan? IDK. Clearly the Lt who is the sister of Narek is Romulan despite her rounded ears. Not surprisingly, the Romulan Blade Runners are part of an Op, possibly a Section 31/Tal Shiar operation.

The Tal Shiar is just a front.
The real deep dark spy organization is the Zhat'Vash.

If Worf does appear, hopefully he looks like Worf. Not like one of the bizarre lizard beings falsely called "Klingon" in Disco.

Kurtzman has already stated publicly that IF Worf shows up, he will look like he always has.
They aren't going to do big changes to him.

Obviously the Borg aspect is how Seven and Hugh end up involved. They mention liberated Borg. That might include them.

And they might be on the run from the Romulan Franken-scientists who based on the trailers - are hunting down liberated Borgs for used in next generation of synths or some other sick experiement...

Man what a bitch that CNC was. I hope she dies painfully. You shouldn’t talk like that to Picard. The third best captain in Starfleet. Hell, she shouldn’t speak like that at all.
Do we really need another secret group in Star Trek? It’s getting a bit silly. Just say it’s the Tal Shiar.

wasn’t a big fan of the beginning. Just didn’t feel Star Trek to me. Felt more Alien like, Especially with the rogue Synths.

Funny seeing the Commodore rank again. Didn’t get a good look at the pips to see how that is represented.

This is how Star Trek should have always been. Humans acting like humans. Plot was a little weak though and the exposition bogged it down a bit. So not quite as good as last week. Still solid though.

Peyton List is a pleasant surprise. (Love her.)

Also Tamlyn. :adore:

8/10 from me.
