Spoilers Picard Prequel "Children of Mars"

Does it have to make sense?

I'm so thirsty.

Yeah, that’s what people have been saying.

Also in the very first trailer with Riker, in the shot of him from behind in his kitchen, I’m almost certain you can see what looks like a TNG era replicator to his right, with a coloured screen above it. It’s too out of focus to make out if it’s LCARS, but it seems to be the right colour scheme for a TNG era computer screen.

A replicator in place of a microwave??

Sorry if that has been covered elsewhere, but is there any sense of when the episode will drop? I haven't been this excited for the previous Short Treks, and so I just saw them when I saw them. But if Children of Mars will be up, say, at 12am EST tonight, I might just say up… :)

It’s usually during the day

(sorry, repost from the wrong thread)

While watching “Children of Mars,” be sure to look out for small words on various screens. There are a few huge clues here that will totally shape the events of what happens in Picard, and might indicate the ways in which both Starfleet and the Federation has changed in the two decades since we last checked in with this part of Star Trek history. This is a quiet and subtle episode of Short Treks to be sure, but once you watch it, you’ll realize how it uncorks something very, very big.

Do they know that, meaning they've seen it, or do they just speculate?

It's really not much.

A Disco Magee class and other ships are under construction/maintenance at Utopia Planitia.
On First Contact Day, rogue synths attack Mars with the flat arrow ships we saw, 3000 estimated dead.
The girls' mom/dad are stationed there.
Admiral Picard finds it devastating.

So I guess we know one enemy now...

So was that Federation fighters attacking Mars.

So they have the Disco UFP logo, Disco shuttle, and Disco Magee class in what's supposed to be the late 24th century.
The Soong-type androids seem to be the aggressors here. Their fighters don't have the SF logo we saw in the recent teasers.

what is this?
what is what?
