The way radio stations cut off all their Christmas music at 12:00 am on December 26. Boxing Day is still part of "the holidays", and considering the number of Canadians who actually have family Christmases on Boxing Day, it wouldn't hurt the stations to continue to play holiday music for another 24 hours.

Uncertain about celiac specifically, but two of the families have legitimate health-related issues. The third might classify more as "diet fad" except he's got some pretty specific reasons. Frankly, I think my diet could stand to be more like his ... the amount of bleached white flour that pervades my diet is kind of appalling. I was moving toward some good alternatives earlier in the year but fell off the wagon BAAAAD during the holidays.
That’s a big difference for me. If I’m making food for people, and somebody is asking me to make less tasty food because it could make them horribly sick, that’s a good reason and I will work to accommodate them. If it’s just because a daytime talk show gave them misinformation, I’ll give them an alternative but won’t work as hard. Why is it the only time I ever have trouble sleeping is when I have to wake up early?!
Assholes who refuse to stop being an asshole. Witnessed today: Some asshole comes in with headphone playing loud music, walks around annoying everybody. An employee walks over, asks him to turn it down. He just looks at her like she's a piece of shit. turns it down such a smidge to where you cant' really tell he did anything. A few minutes later another employee asks him to turn it down. Again, looks at this other employee like she's a piece of shit. Turns it down an appreciable amount after a few minutes, but it's still loud. A few minutes later a third employee asks him to turn it down. Again, ignores it, looks at the employee like she's a piece of shit; she comes back and demands it again (now the administrator is nearby, probably going to ask him to leave). He finally turns it down. Still can hear it, but it's no loud. Then this walking human piece of shit hangs around, does nothing, and sleeps as if he was some homeless person who needed to rest, which he clearly was not. It should be legal to paint gun his ass.
When you order clothes via internet and the stuff turns out to be poor quality and sizing, especially pants. (Cheep stuff from China or elsewhere.....)
I made myself a little jello because I can't seem to get rid of this chest cold and I don't feel like eating much. I get out the little bowl of cool whip to put a dab on top of the jello and make it a little better. The bowl of cool whip slipped out of my hands when I had a coughing fit. Did it land at my feet? No. It rolled from the kitchen doorway through the dining room and halfway into the living room spewing its contents at jagged intervals. I just about lost it. I knew I should have stayed in bed.
