Nemesis is worse than anything JJ did.easily the worst Trek film before Abrams wanted to have a go.

I think Nemesis completely ignores the characters in a way that Abrams Trek never did.Nemesis is worse than anything JJ did.
You’re entitled to your wrong opinionI like Nemesis. Still.
You're all wrong.![]()
Yes, he is very much wearing Makeup, regardless of whether digital touch'ups get done, it would be pointlessly time consuming(and more expensive) to film him with a normal skin, and not contact lenses, then digitally recolor his skin and eyes, certainly that stuff is possible, but it's ridiculously impractical and pointless to do it, and again, expensive, some people think a bit of skin smoothing touch'ups are expensive, just totally doing his makeup from scratch digitally is considerably more, and it would not look nearly as good as having his makeup on him in camera. Is Spiner actually wearing makeup for this? Or have they know been able to go the full CG route now? I know in the past, one of the reasons Spiner said he didn't want to play the character any longer was just the makeup, alone.
It's an entertaining movie...just not a very good Star Trek movieI like Nemesis. Still.

It isn't very good any kind of a movie. It's an entertaining movie...just not a very good Star Trek movie![]()
I said entertaining. I didn't say good.It isn't very good any kind of a movie.
I didn't remember that.
Were the writers getting ready for the movies and planted explanation why Data would look older if the movies would go on for many years?![]()
I don't think it's that so much as just covering for the 7 years the show ran. All of the cast, including Spiner, noticeably aged from Encounter At Farpoint to All Good Things...She's a beta quadrant ship
Probably! They were smart and planned ahead when it became clear they had a hit that might go on for years...
Not that either. 'Painful' would be more apt description.I said entertaining. I didn't say good.
Mileage will vary. Not that either. 'Painful' would be more apt description.
No. Insurrection is a mediocre TNG episode with a modest movie budget, and that's fine as even mediocre TNG episodes are still pretty good. Nemesis on the other hand is an embarrassingly bad action movie and was easily the worst Trek film before Abrams wanted to have a go.
TFF is way better than Nemesis. It is perhaps the weakest of the original cast movies, but it is much better than people give it credit for.Star Trek V: The Final Frontier says "hello". Unless you meant to say Next Generation Trek movies.
That isn't hard to do to be better than Nemesis.TFF is way better than Nemesis. It is perhaps the weakest of the original cast movies, but it is much better than people give it credit for.

TFF should have had the effects quality of NEM, and NEM should have had the epic concept and scope of TFF
And yet he liked ST6, wherein the Klingons come to a dinner party.I can't agree with this. TFF is easily worse. Shatner butchered that one. Roger Ebert said it best that the mighty Klingons were reduced to being guests at a tea party.
