I wish I were on a fly that could understand language and human reasoning while perched in the office where the scriptwriter wrote that episode. Double entendre just doesn't get any better than that and I want to see how many times the writer and editor and censors had to fight back the giggles. Never mind the actors trying not to engage in corpsing on filming day!

I'd bet real money someone somewhere was hoping Mea 3 would get Tamura to do just that. Not me, I'm more into Charlie but there's always room for more...

Way too many good'uns but here's a good one:

SPOCK: Most illogical. Of all people, he should have known how the computer would perform. Of course, the M-5 itself has not behaved logically.
MCCOY: Please, Spock, do me a favour and don't say it's fascinating.
SPOCK: No. But it is interesting.
    (McCoy rolls his eyes.)

Hmmm, so much for my new avatar, it's time to make a new avatar...

Is There In Truth No Beauty

Not as much the dialogue, but how Leonard Nimoy acts out regarding a character trait from the best physician in Starfleet:

MIRANDA: I think I'll stay here a bit. Ambassador Kollos often finds the process of transport somewhat unsettling.
SPOCK: I understand. Our ship's surgeon often makes the same complaint. Do call when you are ready.

100% pure Vulcan class as well as being brilliant deadpan.

Spock: Take D'Artagnan here to sickbay.

(The fact that Spock doesn't miss a beat when he says that cracks me up every time.)

Ok, I know I was just dissing The Carbomite Maneuver in another thread, but this conversation is hilarious:

Spock: “I regret not learning more about this Balok. In some ways he is very reminiscent of my father.”

Scotty: “Then May heaven have helped your mother”

Spock: “On the contrary. She considered herself a very fortunate earth woman.”

That last line just cracks me up!!!

^^ Yes, he’s telling the truth. Even more funnier in a strange way is what Kirk tries to clobber Ruk with in WALGMO...:wtf:

Haha, subtle. How much manlier could James Tiberius Kirk possibly be in that scene?! No one’s overcompensating here, no sir, lol.

I always laugh at this. Pervert that I am.

I never noticed this on my first 100 viewings but now someone has pointed it out I wonder why this ah particular prop was every used.
It was a more innocent time in the 60s.

Sorry folks. As sad and as stupid as it is, the Penis Rock image is not allowed here.

    @T'Bonz explained the issue here.

Well, I was about to post a video of that dialog, but I don't want to spoil the episode for you since you haven't seen it.

They made the penis rock verboten! Damn you, Google!

    Anyway, dialog...

KIRK: "Mister Spock, the women on your planet are logical. It is the only planet the galaxy that can make that claim."

My sister HATED that line growing up. As a mature adult, I totally understand, but as a kid in the era where "women drivers" and so on were standard jokes, it was hilarious to me.

That bit in "Tomorrow is Yesterday" when the guy at the military base threatens to lock Kirk up for two hundred years.

Kirk sighs and goes, "That would be just about right."

(Or words to that effect. I'm too lazy to look up the exact wording.)
