My wife just got back from ep 9, according to her and her friend It's the worst saga movie after ep 8, my neigbor said the same things after he went on opening night do I skip the movie for sure.

Why does it have to be hyperbole? One of the movies has to be the worst one, and maybe the people saying that genuinely believe it. We all gots diff'rent tastes.People calling it the worst movie in the entire saga are being hyperbolic. It's a mess but it's a watchable mess, and it has a lot of great individual moments and some solid acting.

Personal story time: When I was still convinced that SW was the greatest film ever I discovered a website called "Movie Mistakes" and the SW films had the most mistakes. So, I started researching how they were made. And discovered that the films are not perfect but I still thoroughly enjoyed them.All of the Star Wars movies are deeply flawed and there’s a solid case to be made for any one of them being the worst.

Yep, for me it was noticing the stormtrooper banging his head on the door, and learning that William Shatner had a reputation for being a bit of a dick.
