Spoilers The Good Place Season 4

I went back and rewatched the scene, and she changed when Jason put Derek and Mindy's magnetic sex handcuffs on her.

Hey! OK, now things are getting good. I have to admit I was hoping it wasn't a simple switcheroo, but the way they did it with Janet, (Instead of Michael) & Jason being the guy to figure it out, was pretty snappy & I liked it.

I wouldn't write out Glenn btw, He's still there, just gooey, & he was actually in a can marked "1 Glenn" on the train car that left for the bad place. My favorite part was when he bubbled up, & Bad Janet told him to shut up, & he answered with a meeker gulp lol

Oh, I just remembered one other part I thought was really funny, I don't think anybody else has mentioned, the magical pictionary game, with Chidi's deformed horse creature.

I am not talking about the logic of how he figured it out. But how her disguise went away. Seemed like Jason pointed the detector toward her to make that happen.

Oh, he used the cuffs that were used on Janet in S2 and Derek uses for sex.

It does explain why Janet was complaining about how hard it was to keep the neighborhood together, and how much concentration it took.

When did she and Jason break up? Before or after the train switch?

It must have been after the switch that Janet broke up with Jason. He says so in the episode, that it was Bad Janet that dumped him

I thought of a great Halloween costume.

Good Place Evangelist

Just a big sign saying “GOOD PLACE OR BAD PLACE” with a handful of pamphlets and a mosaic of scenes from the show.

Wiki says the breakup is episode 2. And that the demon is sent back in episode 1. So it may have been Bad Janet that broke up with Jason.

Guess that means Bad Janet did the hair dye experiment. She was already bored being Good Janet.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go back once this comes to Netflix, & rewatch D'Arcy Carden playing Bad Janet as Good Janet

Tonight's was easily the funniest episode of the season. So many great zingers from everyone.

While it was a little too quick and easy for Michael and Jason to go down to the Bad Place and successfully find and rescue Janet in a single episode, I loved the manner it played out. Demoncon was hilarious and I was greatly amused how Shawn initially thought the real Michael was just Vicky in the Michael suit. Without missing a beat, Michael played on Shawn's gullibility and safely brought out Jason who remarkably fell into the role of Glenn in a Jason suit ("Brilliant. Have an idiot play an idiot."). I especially loved how Janet quickly saw through the ruse when she was brought onto the stage and I could see her heart (not a heart) melt when Jason profusely expressed his love to her, girl (whisper: not a girl).

The rest of episode was amusing dalliance between Eleanor and Tahani, playing to their strengths, even if Tahani isn't happy about her skill set. I love how far these characters have grown. Back in season one, they were at each other throats, full of jealousy and envy and pride. But now, when one of them is self-deprecating themselves, the other helps them work pass those issues and build themselves up to be a better person. With moments like these, I wonder if that's truly the test that's going on and none of them even know about it (including Michael and the Judge).

More Derek wackiness, especially now he had to be temporarily put in charge of maintaining the village. Naturally, the Scrabble-tile sipping goof managed to cause everyone to go even crazier than him in fast order. It's kind of a shame that Janet was rescued so quickly because I would love to see a couple of more episodes of Derek disastrously running things.

I don't remember who brought it up a week or two ago about Eleanor's memories, but Michael reminds us in this episode that he already fully restored Eleanor's and Tahani's memories and now he's done the same for Jason. And of course his take away fro. 300 years of memories being restored is that he once threw a Molotov cocktail in the Bad Place and it worked!

Great episode, but the whole Foles thing at the end was laugh out loud funny. Really loved the stuff with Tahani and Eleanor. Tahani has been really regulated this season so I hope this is the start of something bigger in the final episodes.

Entering the Bad Place

Population: Your Mom

The fact that Sean didn’t know where Glen was implies that maybe he really was defecting and had bad information.

And I like they clearly established everyone got all their memories back.

I like Eleanor’s performance with the nuances of wanting to give Chidi actual happiness then having to watch him with Simone.

Visiting the Bad Place is always fun, and our visit here did not disappoint. Ted Danson as Vicky pretending to be Micheal was hilarious, and got even better when we got Micheal pretending to be Vicky pretending to be Micheal.
Derek trying to run the neighborhood was hilarious.
The stuff with Eleanor and Tahani was really good, it nice to see Tahani actually want to help. Her character really has grown a lot since the show started.

Jameela Jamil was on this week's episode of the podcast and she heavily hinted that the actions of this episode kick of a big arc for Tahani.
