If true, I'm surprised they're keeping him MI-6 instead of making him a SHIELD agent. That's the sort of streamlining the MCU loves to do.
There is a rumor that Marvel wants to recast the Inhuman royal family for Ms Marvel. Vin Diesel has been mentioned as Black Bolt (as he was when Inhumans was originally going to be a motion picture) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the former Quicksilver, as Maximus.
I bring it up not for the rumor itself, but to see how people would feel about recasting television characters, or even decanonizing the Inhumans series and other aspects of Marvel Television altogether.
Speaking only for myself, I think this would be the only case where I was really comfortable with decanonizing something on the television level entirely. I love the Inhumans in the comics, but the TV show was a very poor representation of their potential. I would love to see them done correctly, and seeing as how Inhumans didn't cross over into any other Marvel show, with only a vague reference to events on Agents of SHIELD, in this instance I say decanonize away.
On the flip side, I've also read rumors that Feige is interested in retaining the services of Charlie Cox and Mike Colter as Daredevil and Luke Cage, and this makes me very happy. In my mind, and in the minds of many fans, those stories are as legitimate and relevant to the MCU as anything in the movies, despite the lack of cross-pollination between them.
I know that Kevin Feige has a lot more on his plate now, being in charge of all Marvel live-action productions, but I hope that he respects most of what's been established under Jeph Loeb enough to, if not continue or refer back to it, at least not outright contradict it. Again, I have no problem with calling a mulligan on Inhumans as it was a train wreck that didn't impact anything else.

Discard Inhumans, keep everything else.
It's not that the actors were the problem, just that it's a good idea to make a clean break from that interpretation overall.
The way the story ended left things wide open for any kind of reinterpretation they wanted. Aside from Maximus on the moon and everyone else on Earth, they could go with whatever they wanted as the status quo. But I also don't mind a reboot. I just would have loved some of the cast being kept.
"Clean break" means disregarding everything about it.
I tend to agree 'Inhumans' is the one Marvel TV property I have zero problem with them discarding. It was fucking awful and I found myself having to fast forward through scenes just to get through an episode (which is something I usually never do.) I only stuck with it because I'm a bit of an MCU completionist, so if it wasn't an MCU show I would have given up after episode 2 or 3. Anson Mount's performance as Black Bolt was the only thing even half-way interesting about that show, so I'd be OK with them keeping him and ditching literally everything else, but I think it's probably going to be all or nothing. In which case: better to go with nothing.
As for the other TV actors showing up: D'Arcy showing up in Endgame proves that 1) the movie people are at least aware of the TV casts and 2) are at least open to the idea of using thing, in principle if nothing else.
I wouldn't be at all shocked of Daredevil gets reborn as a Disney+ show with the original cast since it was by far the more successful and highly regarded. Same for Jessica Jones.
Bit of a pipe dream, but I *really* want to see they give Henwick and Missick a 'Daughter of the Dragon' show. 'Heroes for Hire' would also be a smart choice, but I honestly could take it or leave it based on their previous two shows.
Most of all though, I want whoever makes it to the end of AoS's final season to have a home in the movies somewhere. from the post credits on SM:FFH, it looks like they're doing something with SWORD or Alpha Flight somewhere down the line and most of the AoS cast would fit in well there. Mostly Quake and Fitzsimmons.

As far as the movies are concerned, SHIELD has been gone for a while (like, close to a decade, post blip) so this actually makes more sense from a streamlining perspective. He can still be ex-SHIELD MI-6 agent just as Sharon Carter is an ex-SHIELD CIA agent, but it may not be necessary.
If they were going to bring back the Netflix shows, I would think Hulu would be more likely than Disney+. That way they wouldn't have to tone them down, or worry about connecting something on Disney+ to TV-MA seasons.

Natalie Portman has responded to the negative comments about the MCU. Her response is pretty much how I feel about movies in general.
Perhaps oscar winning director views matter a bit more?

Speaking only for myself, the only way I'm going to make the investment in a theater experience (and yes, these days going to the "Multiplex" is an investment), the experience has to be worth spending the money on a big screen experience. For me, that is Star Wars / Marvel / DC etcetera type movies. The type of stuff that Coppola and Scorsese produces is far more suited to my tastes on the more than sufficient home sized TV screens available today.

Scorsese couldn't get a distribution deal for The Irishman, which many are now saying is the best movie of his career. He partially blames Marvel style movies for that.Uhhh...what?!?!
