Well every few months there seems to be some kind of "big cat" story about Tasmania but mostly on the tabloid shows like ACA and TT.

Meanwhile we do live in weird times.

So is Scott Morrison a conspiracy nut?

For the thylacine to still exist it would have to be a big enough population for it to have for more than 80 years without a single species being captured or a single body found. Though the last know thylacine died in 1938 I think it probable that some existed until the 1950s and lay be even into the 60s but I think to have been around any later than that they population size would have been big enough for othering existence to be confirmed.

If they exist at all I think it would be an undiscovered population in New Guinea but I think that is very unlikely.

So the Roosters win the NRl grand final. Great defensively game from both teams. The game will be remember for that ref error where Canberra thought they had six again ... nope.

Question from the blue. Can anyone name an Australian sci-fi TVshow? Any time since TV began. I’m sort of not counting Farscape because it was pretty much US driven. I know there are a lot of kid’s shows (Escape from/Return to Jupiter, and Spellbinder are the first to come to mind).

In season 1 Farscape was very local in production being mostly done by channel 9 and the Jim Henson company.

Oh god I remember that. Aussie Star Trek

@Kaos did I answer your question? Or were you looking for something different?

Quick PSA: the current Federal Govt, is cruel, mean and thoughtless.

I hadn’t really been thinking recent stuff, but thanks. That Planet of Fear looks interesting; I’ll check it out when I can

Ivan Milat has died. Good riddance though I wish he had suffered more.

    Hallelujah there is a God.

Shame he took all his secrets with him and his demented family still defends him.
