And if they do three seasons of Picard like they plan it will take place on two different centuries too! It's the first Trek show to take place in two completely different centuries, might just as well let it set a precedence here in the BBS as well.
True, but no where near the same time-jump as DISCOVERY.And if they do three seasons of Picard like they plan it will take place on two different centuries too!
Having two forums for one show would be insane. The current method of organisation is silly anyway. Just divide them into past shows and currently airing shows like many people have suggested.
I approveIt'd make more sense to give The Orville a forum than to give Discovery two.
For the person who just wants to check out a DSC forum without having seen the show before, having 2 separate forums for it would be confusing to say the least.
At the risk of sounding incredibly ignorant or insensitive why not post it and it will get moved to the new forum? I mean, discussion is discussion, right? As for why a Picard forum is needed now, I know I'm looking forward to it. I know there's the whole which comes first argument - do you wait to build a forum until there's enough discussion, or will building the forum be what brings in more discussion - but in this case I do think that conversation will take off even more once a new forum is created. I've personally held back on creating a thread or two until the forum is in place, as I feel that it will get more eyes that way. A lot of people (myself included) browse this forum for years but don't venture into Future of Trek very often, if they even realize it exists.

I suppose...I think that a separate Picard forum will get more traffic, meaning more people will have the opportunity to see and respond to my post. If I start it here, it may be dead by the time it gets moved to the new forum.
Can we also create an entire Trek movie sub-forum that is entirely centered only around the "Galaxy Quest" movie? Please?
1999, but who’s countingThis post brought to you by 1998.![]()
For the THIRD Time...The nineties are back baby!
Just wait until all this 80 nostalgia stuff is done. It's already started with Cpt. Marvel and Suicide squad and Dr. Strange. Blacklight poster aesthetics are all the rage again!
