I don't feel a case could be made that there aren't enough minority Best Supporting Actress nominees and winners in the Oscars lately............but you can definitely make it for Best Lead Actress lately.
I'm not the one that came up with the thread title. I was just responding to it
n the next Thor film, actress Tessa Thompson revealed, Valkyrie's "first order of business" would be "to find her queen". Marvel supremo Feige later confirmed that meant Valkyrie would be the first openly LGBTQ superhero in a Marvel film.
ah ok. Well it's not my fault if you didn't read all of my commentsThis is an irrelevant statement. It has nothing to do with supporting the thesis you've asserted - and asserted without supporting reasoning - in post after post, which is essentially that Hollywood Is Doing it Wrong with respect to diverse casting.
I mean, honestly - you've offered nothing here except that repeated complaint. We're waiting.
There's a google results list of gay Marvel comics characters, and the most hilarious result is Hercules. I doubt Marvel has written any overtly LGBT stories with Hercules BUT... A few thousand years ago the Greeks didn't seem so Victorian.
A Howling Commando is gay, Pinky, retroactively since the 60s/40s.
I keep forgetting that Moon Knight's valet is gay, ( I read 2 years worth of Moon Kight in a weekend last month but it didn't come up) but now I think that his name Frenchie is about his endless surplus of condoms kept at the ready, more so than that he is French, because men are just assholes. Hell, we never heard his "accent" so how can we really be sure that he is French?
Korg!? The Rock monster alien dominating playstation at Thor's place in Avenger's Endgame.
Victoria Hand. Saffron Burroughs. Seen and murdered on Marvel's Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Okoye (Michonne from the walking Dead) is a black lesbian. The weird thing about that is that all of the Dora Milaje are married to the Black Panther (in the comics at least) which is more of a religi-political situation than anything approaching "love". So the Dora Milajeare are all together the wives of the Black Panther (whoever that may be, including Princess/Queen Suri?) but if they were to have a relationship with a man (or a women) in violation to their "marriage vows" that is treason, and punishable by death(???).

Read 'em all through. You've posted nothing but unsubstantiated complaints. Reposting them at length doesn't invest the remarks with content that wasn't there the first time.ah ok. Well it's not my fault if you didn't read all of my comments
oh did you happen to hear about the show runner of ms marvel is a racist?
When the rumors of the She-Hulk show first surfaced a few months back, Mark Ruffalo was mentioned as being a supporting player. I think the legal issues involving the Hulk only apply to solo Hulk theatrical releases, which Disney would have to allow Universal to distribute.Would any of the legal stuff that's kept Marvel from doing Hulk movies keep Mark Ruffalo's Hulk from appearing in She Hulk? If they cover her origin from the comics in the show, he'd pretty much have to.
try her own wordsAccording to who? The same people who said Brie Larson hates all white men?
did you happen to catch her "I hate white people" line.
No?
"But whatever" pretty much covers your arguments.she deleted her twitter account .. so yeah that makes more context difficult. But whatever.
