You know you're a TOS fan if...

I must have some kind of connection to the Romulan Commander, (although Balance of Terror is probably the closest I can say to having only one favorite episode) so many things he said echo in my mind at times.

Today I was driving to an appointment and a car the same make and color was behind me, not too close but I could see it for several miles. I immediately remembered the scene where they thought the Enterprise was a reflection because it turns as they turn, not growing closer or further away.

If you have to stop yourself from writing "I grieve with thee" on a sympathy card. :alienblush:

And you always back out of the drive at "one-quarter impulse power." :techman::lol:

Having owned Drydock for many years - in my garage - that was actually our first design eg put the car inside. Heck I wanted the music to play also (both versions).

Sadly it’s not that wide and it would have interfered with the garage door opener. So an Enterprise had to go in instead.

. . . if you have a "flexible" interpretation of the Prime Directive.

. . . you've never really bought the "no money" thing.

. . . you still want an "Assignment: Earth" spin-off.
I wonder if the no money thing is just more of no physical money.

From DS9's In the Cards:
NOG: It's not my fault that your species decided to abandon currency-based economics in favor of some philosophy of self-enhancement. (bold added)

One last duty to perform

What was the first mention of Romulan ale? I'm sure it's Wrath of Khan because the crew very rarely met the Romulans in the original series to get to know their drinking habits back then! :vulcan: Plus I get the feeling that the Romulan ambassador in TUC proves that relations between both the Federation and their Empire must have been quite good, excellent in fact to have let him in on their plans to defeat the Klingons in any conflict! :klingon:
