I don't think they ever gave what year the present was in any episode.Yes, it did.
Technology was all over the place, as were the car models.

Yeah, Alexander Siddig was awesome as Ra's Al Ghul.I don't think anyone's suggesting that Gotham would take place on Earth-1, just that it would be one of the "Infinite Earths" that share its multiverse.
I still regret that the only time Ra's was cast perfectly in live action was on Gotham, a show I disliked and had stopped watching long before, while the Arrowverse was stuck with the most mediocre live-action Ra's of all time.
When asked Bruno Heller saidThere is absolutely no reason - other than the retro Noir aesthetic - to believe that Gotham wasn't set in the 21st Century.
“It’s a mash-up, to use the modern phrase,” he said. “If today Batman exists, then this world is the past. But it’s everybody’s past, an 18-year-old’s past and a 54-year-old’s past. So in your memory, the past is all mashed up together. So in this Gotham, it’s a kind of timeless world. It’s yesterday, it’s today, and it’s tomorrow all at the same time, because that’s the world that dreams live in.”

I wonder what role, if any, Lyla Michaels will play in Crisis? Her namesake was a key figure in the comic book.
Not specifically about Crisis but in this video interview actor David Ramsey said Layla has a very important role this season. https://www.nerdsandbeyond.com/2019...bute-to-arrow-co-star-stephen-amell-and-more/I wonder what role, if any, Lyla Michaels will play in Crisis? The show and it Universe it in habits is so far removed from that now. In its final season Oliver Queen exists in a Multiverse with Godlike beings and aliens.
Plus Marv Wolfman who created Harbinger is co writing an episode of the crossover.
Let’s not forget John Diggle having any connection to John Stewart, Green Lantern for many years was merely wishful fancasting. That we had no reason to think was ever going to happen until last year. Arrowverse likes to serve fan desires out of left field even if it contracts what has come before, anything is possible,
