News Star Trek: Discovery Season Two On Blu-Ray And DVD

So where the hell are the other two?
My guess is that CALYPSO will probably be included with the Season-3 DVD/Blu-ray next year, since that appears to be the direction the season is going in.

I'm surprised that They didn't put The Escape Artist with the Season 2 set though.
Perhaps They are planning a Season-3 surprise episode with Harry involved in some manner, thus holding off on that Short?

I guess They could be planning an exclusive Star Trek Short Episode release when They have enough episodes to do such and will put The Escape Artist in that one..

I’d expected them to do that this time, to be honest. Especially now that we know Short Treks is moving away from strictly Discovery-related episodes. Could’ve popped all four episodes on a vanilla $9.99 release, in my opinion. I fully expect that will happen soon, though, given they’ve held back putting all the episodes on this Discovery release.

Thats two more shorts than were on the season one set - unless it's one of those things that was only on the US release, or they hadn't been made at the time of the set's release.

A November release date (like for season 1) was what I had expected. I'll pick this one up to add to my physical media collection (yes people still collect DVD and Blu-Rays!)

DSC on Blu-ray is one thing (if you don’t have it on Netflix in Dolby Vision), but DVD? Far from being the amazing new format it was back in 1997, it just looks like VHS again on everyday HD and 4K TVs.

I was referring to physical media in general not just DSC, it's too bad DS9 and VOY don't get a remaster they do look really bad on large HD displays, a good 480p transfer looks good on a 1080p display but anything larger/higher rez and it looks terrible.

They’re probably going to release a Blu-ray containing all of the short treks when there are more of them
