Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

Yeah, me neither. Besides the issue of her age, that L&C cameo was the only time she's made one of those sort of "callback" appearances -- unlike Noel Neill and Jack Larson, who both did lots of them before each passed a few years back. (In fact, I think the final "Super" related appearances for both of them were in Superman Returns.)

 

Maybe if we get another scene with someone in the timestream or between dimensions or whatever, they can use some footage from it.

 

Awesome idea. I freaking adore that show, and in fact am in the midst of a full series rewatch this summer. I would lose my shit if they did something like that.

 

As a huge decades-long fan of Richard Donner Superman films and their successor, I take great satisfaction that Brandon Routh will have a more recent credit playing the character than Henry Cavil.

 

I think it would be cool if we got Helen Slater back as Supergirl from another dimension or maybe older version of Kara.

 

We'll know they try too hard when they announce Shaquille O'Neal returning as Steel.

Well, they don't say whether he's playing Robin or some other character.

 

Burt Ward should play Bruce Wayne, and they should get Brenton Thwaites to play Terry McGinnis.

Speaking of which, it would be nice if someone from the DCU side would turn up in a short cameo as well...

I wouldn't mind seeing Dina Meyer as Oracle, or Mia Sara as Harley. And hey, they've already got Rachel Skarsten...

 

I have to admit, I'm actually really shocked they do appear to be leaving Black Lightning out of this. I had kind of been assuming this was going to be the point we finally saw it crossover with the other shows.

 

Just caught the SDCC trailer for Arrow season 8 and i just have to say I'm officially annoyed because...

...they wait until NOW to design an actually cool looking Black Canary outfit for Laurel!? Where was this costume designer when they made that god awful thing made entirely of random straps and buckles?

A little disappointed he's not going to be playing the Superman Returns version (unless it's that movie's Superman aged into the Kingdom Come version, which I suppose is possible).
