Then it wouldn't have been a plothole in "Encounter at Farpoint" that the saucer section was able to arrive at Deneb IV so quickly.

What if Voyager had actually used the "tension between the Starfleet and Maquis crew" plot to its full potential?

 

Then those meaningful looks between Janeway and Chakotay would have been funnier...

What if Desilu had decided that Where No Man Has Gone Before was also crap and not worthy of a series commission?

 

Then we'd have nothing to talk about right now.

What if they did end up showing Voyager's aeroshuttle?

 

Then they show the Aerowing in the series after all?

What if someone overloaded the USS Enterprise's fusion reactors and they separated the saucer section and went to warp just as the saucer exploded two years after ST:TMP?

 

Then the ship would need a new saucer.

What if TAS had run for 20 years before being cancelled?

 

Then hopefully Walter Koenig would have realized it's in his best interests to reprise his role as Chekov in TAS after all.

What if William Shatner had decided not to come back as Captain Kirk after TOS?

 

Decker would have played the Captain in ALL of the TOS movies, with Admiral Spock bugging him after the first film.

What if they cast Gates McGadden
as Captain Marie Picard in TNG?

 

Then Patrick Stewart would have been the Enterprise's medical officer, Doctor John Crusher.

What if Mr Leslie was a prominent character in TOS, say on the same level as Sulu or Chekov?

 

Then he would have got a starring credit in the films.

What if Captain Kirk was a vampire?

 

Then the evil Kirk from "The Enemy Within" would have had a difficult time putting on the makeup to cover the scratches with no reflection in the mirror.

What if Tasha Yar had remained on the Enterprise crew after season one?

 

Then the Enterprise wouldn't have died in Generation because she'd have rotated shield frequencies.

What if Counselor Troi wasn't a dolt for the first half of the series?

 

I think she wasn't...

What if we actually had an non-human Captain as the lead character?

 

That would be entertainment.

What if Qo'noS blows up instead of Praxis in Star Trek VI?

 

Then the Klingons won't have a homeworld anymore.
