LOL, for crying out loud. Sorry, folks. Henoch, at least I'm in good company now. :bolian:

Let's try Dr. and Lieutenant Commander Leonard H. McCoy, M.D.

No, not McCoy. Speaking of good company, McCoy and Tonia Borrows seemed to have a good time on Shore Leave...

3rd Clue: Statistically, I'm wearing the least likely color uniform to get killed. What could go wrong?

    I hope I'm entitled to a do-over.

Lt. Esteban Rodriguez, who sees his dreams or thoughts (including that of a Japanese Zero from Paramount's stock footage library) turned into reality; receives the attentions of Angela Martine; and was wearing the ultra-safe blue uniform.

Do-over with this game or with Yeoman Borrows :luvlove:? Regardless, Shore Leave is over. Try again.

1st Clue: It's a dream job to explore this planet. What could go wrong?

2nd Clue: The hot woman is interested in me and not Kirk. What could go wrong?
3rd Clue: Statistically, I'm wearing the least likely color uniform to get killed. What could go wrong?

4th Clue: Wow, Kirk asked for me by name for this mission. What could go wrong?

I decline to answer on the grounds of decorum.

Finally got it. It's the beloved Lieutenant D'Amato.

    1. In the transporter room, they say it's a geologist's dream;
    2. Losira is "for him," not Kirk.
    3. Blueshirt.
    4. IIRC, on the bridge, Kirk gives him a specific callout as someone they'll need for the landing party. Which I thought was one of those nice Starfleet-world-building touches often seen in S3 (and probably S1), but less often in S2.

Yes, it is nice guy Senior Geologist D'Amato. You forgot to give the reason on "what could go wrong?". He dies!

I did so forget. I'm sorry. And honestly, he had to be one of the nicest guys ever depicted on Star Trek. Great acting job as well; I sense the actor was equally likable.

    So . . . my toss?

    1. Please tell me you didn't just make a little pun referring to my reticence.

    Oh wait, wrong show.

Is Riley the character to whom you are referring?

I'm going to take a long-shot on this one.

    Norman from "I Mudd"

He is quiet and offers little information to Dr. McCoy. McCoy calls him "odd" when talking to Spock, It turns out that Norman is actually Norman 1 (an odd number).

You are not programmed to respond correctly in that area.

    2. Yes, our friend [me] is quite intuitive, and also quite versatile.

Trefayne from "Errand of Mercy" was said to be "quiet intuitive", and we saw that he was versatile. But i'm not sure where the pun is. But, that is my guess.

    Ruk?
    1. He was quiet and aloof. There's nothing "little" about him.
    2. Very versatile - he kept everything running for centuries.

"How does he know that?" Particularly since it's not correct. And the pun may be a misdirect.

Ruk, stop! I order you not to give wrong answers!

    New clue:

    2. Yes, our friend [me] is quite intuitive, and also quite versatile.
    3. That's a nice seat. I wish I sat there more often, but it was cool.

The Swiss Army Knife of Starfleet Officers, Lt. Leslie?
    1. He is mostly a quite guy.
    2. Very versatile.
    3. Occasionally, he gets to sit in the Captain's Chair.

Wow, impressive job! Yes, Lt. Leslie is correct. You got 2 and 3 exactly, while for 1, when Kirk in This Side of Paradise says "This is mutiny, mister," with Shatner's articulation of the word and Leslie's sudden speaking part I've always found it amusing that Kirk was accusing a guy who was mostly mute of . . . mutiny. No? Just me? Ah well. :)

And I love Leslie, and Eddie Paskey.
Carry on, nefarious ball denizen!

1st Clue: Lost, but now I am found.
