Cringe Trek

- All the tedious cringe pandering to "I fucking love science" facebook meme page audience in Discovery. (NOW THATS THE POWER OF MATH! *had literally nothing to do with math nor was math shown at all*)
- Yum Yum.
- S2 of Discovery having these non-stop unearned tedious cringe emotional moments between characters who have barely interacted on screen.
- That episode of Discovery with Ash and Pike on the shuttle and Ash starts going "YOU NEED TO GET OVER THE GUILT FROM THE PAST AND YOUR NEED TO BE THE HERO!" crap, nothing like this is ever shown about Pike before this and both these characters have shared about 4 sentences on screen at this point. Oof that was some clunky ass writing and character plot introduction.
- Last episode of S2 of Discovery where Burnham just goes full fan fiction tier Mary Sue to almost comical levels. People crying about how amazing and how much they love Burnham is in the middle of battle, the entire battle and universe revolving around Burnham, Burnham being a transdimensional savior while being shown as a literal fucking ANGEL (something I said was going to happen as a joke at the start of the season, I thought more realistically if they weren't complete hacks it was going to be the AI from Discovery from the future)
After this and this, people are still gushing out Discovery Season 2 spoilers? I've spoiler coded these for now (doesn't take much effort)...I'll let @1001001 decide if this is actionable.

The one that she wore for most of the series. I called it gray but I guess it's purple. And I don't want to link to the worst of it because it's truly disgusting. There's one episode where the suit was far more revealing than is appropriate for TV.

Yeah, no. This one was bad. Edge of the frame, almost certainly overlooked.

Man, the scene where she answers the door to Riker in "Man Of The People" must get those pearls not just clutched, but compressed into singularities.

Oh for crying out loud, you'd think I was asking you to link to porn or something. I just wanted a visual reference so I knew what the hell you were talking about. (Which I still don't, BTW.) But apparently images that aired on syndicated TV 30 years ago are just too scandalous for your delicate sensibilities. Never mind. This is beyond ridiculous.

I gather that we're just talking about garden-variety cleavage here, with a possible wardrobe malfunction.

I think the poster is referring to the camel toe from "Enigns of Command".

I umm... always liked the teal one, that was like a dress. She looked more dignified in it than she did in her gymnastics uniform
