What eventually happens to Nhan?

This thread is the perfect ray of Nhanshine I need after a stressful, rainy day of office work.

You mean Bat-Nhan.
Hmm... on second though, maybe not. Turns out that bất nhân is actually Vietnamese for cruel or inhuman...
Nhân itself means mercy or being humane, people/mortals in the philosophical sense, and it also means core/filling (including computer cores) and cause/reason.

Best five minutes I've ever spent with Google Translate and Wiktionary.

You mean Bat-Nhan. Chief of security by day, caped vigilante by night.

Well, "chief of security" is not a good cover for "caped vigilante". If you don't want to draw suspicion you have to make these two occupations as different as possible, like "awkward glasses' wearing reporter" by day and "Superman" by night. I mean if Superman's cover was "Dirty Harry", I don't think it would have worked as well.

Maybe that's exactly why it would work for her. No one would suspect Commissioner Gordon. Flawless logic

Nhan will be affected by a really unexpected plot twist that comes out of left field and doesn't make sense, like being assigned to the medical department or something.

That would be a Nhan-sequitur. :ouch:

Does it read the same way if she is Nhan-bat?
