"One...two...three...I'm tripping balls!" What a weird, refreshing change of pace. It felt like a fun throwback to the Mutant Enemy series of old.

Also, Enoch is a goddamn delight. I really hope he'll continue to be a presence on this show. He fills that Anya/Illyria-esque fish-out-of-water niche beautifully while remaining his own unique character.

That's pretty cool, I didn't know she was also an actress.
Her character looks pretty cozy with Deke there, I wonder if she's somebody he met on his little walkabout.
Hmm, looking at her IMDB page I've actually seen her in Dollhouse, and possibly in at least a couple Mortal Kombat: Legacy episodes.

I wasn't overly enthusiastic at the prospect of an entire episode in the grungy space setting where almost all the aliens look and act indistinguishable from humans, but that was pretty fun.

I loved this episode. It felt like a dark and gritty episode of Thor: Ragnarok...and that was before Daisy and Jemma started tripping balls.

While there wasn't much substance to the story, I loved the ongoing adventures of Leo and Enoch, best friends of the galaxy, gamblers extraordinaire...except when it comes to bluffing. I could watch just an ongoing show about the two of them bumbling through the universe because they're such a delight, especially Enoch.

I was about to say I was surprised that Jemma and Leo were reunited sooner than I expected but then of course the bounty hunter scooped him up to parts unknown. It's great to see another member of Enoch's race, but it's a pity he's such a bastard.

I get the impression that the Chronicom "Hunters" are hunting down people not native to the timeline or out of their proper times. And I'm starting to suspect that maybe Sarge's band are on the same mission, based on a line from the preview. If so, that's a problem, because Earth isn't "supposed" to still exist in the original timeline.

Interesting theory. I expect when might have a better sense of that next episode when Jemma explains to Enoch about happened in the climax of last season and why she and everyone else is out there looking for Leo and him.

Um...I just watched the clip myself and how did I never notice Enterprise after the explosion?!

I had the same thought.
This episode was a blast. Fitz and Enoch were a lot of fun, I espcially loved poor Enoch's little existential crisis when he found out he had been shut down.
Daisy and Simmon tripping on the puffs was hilarious.

The interesting thing about Enoch is how he embodies some AI-character cliches and subverts others at the same time. He's a cool, intellectual being who speaks in a monotone, but he's very emotional and sentimental. And this episode was kind of a subversion of the trope seen in The Questor Tapes and ST:TNG: "The Royale" where the android character is instantly a success in the casino because his computer brain can beat the games. Here, Enoch had the theory but none of the practice, so he was less useful than Fitz thought he would be. (Maybe he would've been better sticking to the craps table like Questor and Data.)

I loved how it was Enoch's inability to read people that ended up causing them to lose their money, rather than screwing up the numbers or something.

Surprisingly fun episode. I approve.

I liked the little musical cues for the other Chronicom that were part Blade Runner and part Terminator.

I always have a hard time accepting something that small as a teleporter, given how powerful it would have to be. But then, maybe it's based on a similar principle to a sling ring. Doctor Strange did say that magic is just another way of looking at physics, or something to that effect.

This is the same show that broke all kinds of laws of physics last season in its depiction of Earth...and you're complaining about the size of a teleporter ring?

I'm not talking specifically about this show; as I said, I always have an issue with tiny teleporters. Or tiny warp drives, or tiny anything that logically would require huge amounts of power and complex technology to create their effect.

And really, I don't think the portrayal of the shattered Earth was that bad. It'd probably take far, far longer than a few decades for an irregular large chunk of a planet like that to be pulled into a spheroidal shape by its own gravity. Plus they had the excuse of the gravitonium having weird effects.

I love that it's now canon in the MCU that an alien race with blood that is 75% sulfur is called a "Crap-atolian".

Jemma’s “girl, please” had me wheezing. Been waiting 6 seasons for an ‘agents get drunk (or high)’ scene. Was kind of hoping it would be May but Daisy and Jemma were great.
