Interesting that Dontnod dropped the sequel to Remember Me for Life Is Strange, the things you find out.

I don't think that Remember Me did very well for them, I remember reading that the publisher (Capcom) didn't think it did well enough for a sequl, so Dontnod would have had to find another publisher. I'm still liking the game, but it definitely doesn't have the polish of, say, the Batman: arkham games. The controls are a bit too wonky, the level design and enemy encounters can be a bit too frustrating, etc. Its enjoyable, but it could have used some tweaks (and it definitely needs more memory remix moments).

Along with Remember Me, I just started Assassin's creed III. I decided to try it because the historic era (American Revolution) is interesting, even if I know the game won't play as fluidly as the only AC game that I've played where I've liked it enough to beat (Syndicate). So far its fun enough, and it plays well enough that I think I'll enjoy going through it (and then eventually to AC IV, which I also own).

For me what would have made the Remember Me excel was if they had opened up the levels more and gotten rid of the invisible walls you find on your journey and allowed more exploration. Also some of the camera angles that the game generates create awkward moments when you can't see button prompts or aim properly. I fucking hate games with automatic cameras behind the player.

Having said that I am still somewhat enjoying this one. I'm almost at the fight with Madame.

Finished up Battlefield Hardline this afternoon, and I really enjoyed it. It had a good story with a great cast, and pretty surprising ending. I would love to see a sequel, but I'm thinking the time where that was a possibility is probably passed by now.

I started playing Days Gone earlier today. I'm about three hours into the game and so far I'm really enjoying it.

About 70 hours into Assassin's Creed Syndicate and not entirely convinced that the bastard ever ends. I have reached what feels like the mid point of the story and about 55% of the map is still uncovered.

Also have started State of Mind on switch which is a near-future adventure game about being a media wank in a Blade Runner-esque Berlin which is extremely My Jam

Started a new game of Mass Effect: Andromeda, as nothing else was really pulling my interest.

Because ME 3 had such a terrible end I never played it again, I am now playing ME 2.
Is ME: Andromeda comparable with ME1, 2 or 3?

It is most like the original Mass Effect. Though it isn't as good of a game and gets repetitive quickly.

Even though I'm still playing through Days Gone, I've also decided to pick up Mortal Kombat 11, which looks amazing. Switching it up, I'm working my way through the tutorials first so I can unlock the Shao Kahn announcer voice :)

Found a little game on the xbox game pass called Operencia the stolen sun, it is like a 1990s old dungeon crawler like Dungeon manster, Eye of the beholder and Lands of lore, in the way it moves and tells its story, the combat is turn based as in you have to keep a eye on the numbers, and it looks and sound great as well, nice little find.

Playing with a friend who chose the biggest boat (our first mistake) though the lack of any real Tutorial/hints is great frustration. We were caught in a storm unaware that rain water is taken on. We pulled the Anchor down while going at full speed not knowing this causes damage. Dodged a few cannon balls from an NPC Skelton and then the lack of any HUD makes finding people your looking to drop off supplies a pain in the arse.

Then we sank due to taking on water :lol::lol:

Smaller boat now and we are getting to grips with the game. Didn't know all ships in open waters are Human controlled and had a big griefer follow us for sometime and we exchanged shots without damage before he gave up. One random swimmer climbed aboard and proceeded to attempt to take the ship so we slayed the fool

Funniest moment of the night was trying to Harpoon my friend's rowboat to attach it to the ship and I harpooned him out of it instead :guffaw:

A funny game with potential that I look forward to playing more and hopefully we can get friends to join us and have a big ship together. I presume we can upgrade or get new bigger ships and we aren't stuck with our small ship?

I started Assassin's Creed Origins recently. It's probably the first time that I've ridden a camel in a video game ever.
