Feline Follies

We got Willow a bed yesterday to put on my bed. She's been sleeping there most nights where I put an old fleece or something blanket (the older, kinda scratchy kind...not sure exactly what it is but everyone had at least one).

She slept in it for at least some of the night last night but I woke up to find her on that banket next to her bed with her head laying on it (she loves having a pillow). So I took part of the blanket that I cut off and covered her whole bed in it and now she's comfortably sleeping in it. She loves the texture, I guess.

Sophie, on the other hand, loves the texture of the same blanket that I just got that my housemate decided to get, too. She's almost always laying on the downturned portion that has a sherpa material.

I was told by my mom about twenty years ago, when we first got cats and she read up on them, that cats meow as an imitation of humans talking. Maybe this cat grew up among sheep?!
