true, but the point was to try get these two ships to feel a little more connected than they otherwise are.

and also, as someone who really loves the kelvin timeline enterprise(s), i kind of prefer the blue.

Also, I love this edit! I've always disliked the nacelle cap being dark red - IMO that already looked weird on the NX-01 and the Phoenix.

The original was orange, god dammit!

It's not so much the hue itself - it's the goddamn saturation! It needs be be brighter - like you did so well here, just with blue.

STD's designers have added nothing of value, visually, to Star Trek and do their best when they're imitating earlier versions most closely.

The TAS ship is a better match to Disco's Enterprise than the 11 footer. Could that actualy be a swept back nacelle support?
