Where no one has gone before? So why did they change it back to 'Man' for the refit?
Nope, just flat out removing that outdated version of the phrase.

And Star Trek needs to sell toys like Star Wars, I'm sure some mandate from heads in charge of marketing. "You want same budget or higher next year? Figure out how to add some toy stuff into Discovery"
Seriously, I am kinda of surprised we haven't seen any tie-in merchandise with these robots yet.
The Playmates line in the 90s was pretty big and lasted a good seven years, which is fairly good for any toy line. But it was never Hasbro/Star Wars big, and it faded when TNG ended and it focused more on the collectors market than kids.I don't think any Trek line at any point has been particularly successful?
Many races believe that the creation of the Universe involved some sort of God, though the Jatravartid people of Viltvodle VI believe that the entire Universe was in fact sneezed out of the nose of a being known as the Great Green Arkleseizure. The Jatravartids live in perpetual fear of the time they call "the Coming of the Great White Handkerchief," somewhat similar to the Apocalypse. However, the Great Green Arkleseizure theory is not widely accepted outside Viltvodle VI and so, the Universe being as wide and strange as it is, other explanations are constantly being sought by different races throughout the Galaxy.
When the Enterprise was refitted for TMP, am I remembering correctly that the bridge module that was removed was at some point installed into the Constitution-class ship that Picard mentioned to Scotty, in 'Relics', that he'd seen in the fleet museum?
And which ship was that? Lexington? Did they ever say?
They could have straightened up her nacelles a bit.https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701)?file=USS_Enterprise_in_Spacedock.jpg

The Republic? That starship was once mentioned or alluded to as being the oldest ship still in active service but was confined to Earth's solar system. The Republic might have been the only Constitution-class starship still in existence by the TNG/DS9/VOY Era.

Then what will she look likewas just thinking it will be another 12 years before the enterprise is back there for its major refit.
Then what will she look like![]()
I see, they visually update words too.Who says the refit is part of the same "visual continuity" as Discovery? Those circular 70's TMP monitors don't fit into the Discoverse any more than the TOS screens did.
And characterisations. Pike didn't seem at all uncomfortable with women on his bridge in Discovery.I see, they visually update words too.
