That's a cute little bridge, feels very era and size appropriate.

I've tweaked the LCARS a bit more and shuffled the materials around to better reproduce the Voyager aesthetics. As ever I'm also taking the chance to experiment with some new things, such as using procedural textures for some of the metallic details around the bridge.

I'm quite happy with how it's looking now, it was too plain boring white before. I think I'm ready to call this one pretty much done. :)

Love it! Your designs are always very modular to allow for different design elements to be interchanged so easily to redress a previous bridge and give it a completely different take on it.

That's an "I love you, you're perfect, now change" comment if there ever was one.

This would make an excellent Vesta-class bridge, methinks.

I think it works fine -- the arrangement of the chairs and the single swivel-headed console between them hearkens to both the Voyager and Equinox bridges, but the chairs and console Rekkert is using go better with the Galaxy-style tactical horseshoe.

Apologies, that was not what I was trying to say, I am sorry if it came off that way. Rekkerts bridges are always amazing. I have edited my previous post to clarify.

@batboy853: lol, no need to modify the comment; it's possible to make an observation or critique even while enjoying something. On the issue of the Voyager style base for the command chairs, I actually tried to incorporate one at first, but I just liked how the reused TNG console on the middle looked like instead. :)

@SolarisOne: Hmm, could be, though I would imagine that a design as radical as the Vesta would have a brand new aesthetic for the interior, to go in line with the brand new exterior.

I made some very minor tweaks, here's the finished bridge!

I apologize if I sounded like I was being overly judgmental. I just found the juxtaposition of the original comments amusing. I probably should have quoted you, as now my comment makes no sense.

After updating to Ubuntu 19.04, I'm back to the Avenger bridge. I've added lighting right above the viewscreen, which due to the reflective floor helps quite a bit with the overall illumination of the bridge.

I've also started work on the door alcoves. This is a point where the Avenger will be quite different from Disco, as on the latter ship the aft and front alcoves are completely different from one another. Here they will all be identical.

I've started adding paneling on the walls and columns as well. Keep in mind, the colors and materials being use are highly temporary at this stage, I'm mostly focusing on the modeling and lighting right now; I'll tweak the materials later.

I've added a ton more paneling on the walls, plus several other details all around. The biggest update however is on the helm consoles, as I've collapsed them and started working on their details. These include two status indicators near the Captain's chair.

Coming together nicely! Isn't it a joy to work with more reflective surfaces for a change?

@Donny: Indeed it is, much more visually interesting I think, even though of course I love the "90's" Trek aesthetic.

@The Primeval: I'm glad you do!

Speaking of 90's Trek aesthetic, @Rusty0918 had a very simple commission in mind which would be a quick conversion of the Appalachia bridge: the Prometheus-Class USS Indefatigable. What was needed was mostly a matter of changing materials, LCARS, and a few consoles around, so I took a few days to do so.

Fun fact, this is the 12th Trek interior I've finished this year. It's the same number I've done in all of 2018, but we're only 4 months into 2019. Of course a big part of this is due to the heavy reuse of components I can make as I model more and more interiors, but I want to think that I've also become a faster worker overall. :p

I think the silver tambour detail from Voyager's bridge would accent this one quite well.

    Missed abit! :)
Love the new bridges, on the one with the console in between the captain/#1.. great place for a cup holder! :rommie:
Excellent on the Avenger bridge! Can't wait to see what you do with her!

Oh.. I have a Aventine model, if you decide to move forward, I can get you measurements and stuff. It has a confrence room up front and looks like offices on either side.

Ohh hey, Disco style interiors!! I love the work you've done so far, but I'm still on the fence of the overall DSC aesthetic. It"ll grow on me, I'm sure.
My major complaint here is the missing bar and poker table. :D

Have you tried working in Blender 2.8 yet? I'm a big fan of the way layers are now managed using the "Collections" outline. What add-ons do you like to use?
