I personally think it's guarantied. What do you all think? What will it look like and what will the tech abord be like?

Title edited by Moderator to remove finale spoiler. The poll refers to a 33rd Century Enterprise

By 3187 I think we'll see the end of the lettering and maybe the need for registries at all.

So something extremely advanced with simply "Enterprise" or a variation caused by 1000 years of linguistic evolution/drift.

Kind of depends on the state/existence of the Federation at the time of Discovery's arrival. While Calypso suggests that the Federation has evolved into the V'Draysh by that point in time, it isn't clear whether Calypso takes place in the same timeline we are going to.

Calypso for all we know takes place in 42nd century. But I for one welcome Enterpise-ZZ Alpha.. lol... Not really

Maybe an Enterprise wreck. I think they go the Andromeda route and the Federation doesn't exist anymore and humans are on average less advanced than they were in the 23th century.

Yes. by then it will be the Enterprise-XXX and the show will finally earn its MA rating.
If you know where to look you can already find more than enough material for fill 7 years worth of Enterprise-XXX show :D

The point of the clean slate was so that they didn't have to keep using Enterprise as a crutch or a fan tickle. I hope there would be a few, very few references to 24th century Trek, but not much more. They wouldn't want to hamper the Picard series either.

I agree, but there's almost an irresistible urge within Trek to connect things. Several things within today's culture & geopolitical realities can be traced back to things 1,000 years ago or more. [Happy Easter to all, by the way.] I'm NOT advocating that they should do that, but I'm just saying don't be surprised if they do.

Imagine how shocked we’ll be when they reveal the secret of the ancient spaceship Senpri
