List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

Even though I had seen it just some time ago, I felt like rewatching "In The Pale Moonlight" this morning. It was in total the third time I saw the episode and with each time it gets more amazing. Especially this moment at the end where Sisko looks into the camera and keeps telling that he can live with it... and you just feel that both himself and the viewer know that it's not true. The whole episode is one masterpiece in every sense, and Avery Brooks definitely delivers some of his very best acting. The only episode I can think of spontaneously that even tops his performance in here is "Far Beyond The Stars".

"Carbon Creek" Enterprise, season two
thats a real down to earth episode

"Past Tense" from DS9. And I was reminded how casually and nonchalantly ST has always handled time travel. People are so up-in-arms about it with DSC, but it's always been a go-to writing tool in every ST series.

They've been up-in-arms when it has been used poorly in the past. Conversations over "Endgame" were a treat back in the day, also the Temporal Cold War.

When has it been used excellently? Take your pick: the timeship in VOY? Data galloping around? Ferengi at Roswell? Voyager showing up at the Big Bang? Nero? Even "Yesterday's Enterprise" dealt more with alternate timelines than time travel. The bad examples far outnumber the good ones. But that will never stop ST from doing it more. As a DSC fan, I accept it with all the risks of excellent and non-excellent outcomes.
