Well, that’s a decent twist. I believe one or two posters on the board called that one.

As for the episode, nice pacing and quite a few nice character beats. Writing was pretty tight, dialogue ( to me ) was pretty good. All in all, pretty damn good episode. 9/10

Oh so I was right. The Angel is someone we’ve never met.

I give this episode a 9. Twist was pretty good and the suffocation scene was extremely uncomfortable and dark in a way I don’t remember feeling from a Star Trek episode before

I’m sure some people will question how the angel was able to revive Michael, but that might be explained next week

"Kill Gary Mitchell. Edith Keeler must die. Open the airlock, Michael. Don't move - any of you!"

    I'm sensing a pattern here...

Emotional episode and really enjoyable. Lot more reveals then I expected, some pretty funny. I'm glad this is the direction they went in and it makes a lot of sense. It was a theory some tossed out before but without tonight's information it wasn't a serious consideration until tonight. I want to give this an 8.5 but not sure if I should pick 8 or 9.

The acting was great tonight. It's great usually but more so then usual tonight I feel. Also more Doug Jones/Saru singing please!

This show has really turned a corner in depicting the inner emotional lives of its characters. Some very good interpersonal scenes on display here, with something for everyone to do. I thought this might have been SMG's best performance to date.

The reveal of the Angel's identity was well played, and shows that the showrunners and writers were well aware of the game they were playing--as well as the fact that the obvious identity would not have worked as a reveal, but sure made good misdirection. I think at least a couple people predicted that twist. Good on them.

I appreciate that the reason the Angel showed up where it did was extremely obviously and yet I don't recall anyone predicting it.

I'll have to rewatch to grasp what Georgiou's deal is, as she seemed to behave a little differently this time.

    Leland is now Control, yes?

I'm happy to have called that Nilsson replace Airiam in a really meta moment.

    Some wonderful ship shots!

    And Transparent Aluminum.

It should be noted that in Endgame, Klingons finally perfected time travel technology with a Chrono deflector, which Janeway needed to time travel.

I figured the initial Red Angel identification was a red herring. But all my guesses to the actual Red Angel were wrong, though I think some people in this forum did guess it correctly. But I liked the reveal and It does make sense based on what Leland told Michael.

Is Leland dead? I was starting to like him.

Spock sure knows how to get information. In previous episode he knew all about Culber and Stamets. This time he knows about Burnham's parents, an information just revealed by Leland.

The original Airiam actress replacing her on the bridge was nice.

This episode was directed by the Lady who will direct the initial Picard episode. The writers were new and not listed as producers or story editors. If they are freelance writers, it would be odd to get to write such an important episode. It's possible they are new hires for the writing staff.

The end is hard to watch. I had to hit pause before I go in for the rest. Wow.

    Well that was interesting.

Great job with the reveal. That comfortably and happily didn't let me down. It was neither expected nor was it fanwanky inane stupidity like a lot of people were predicting or hoping for. And it sufficiently advances the story of the main character of the show.

I couldn't help but think "man, the Burnham Haters are going to have a fucking stroke with this one" all through the episode. Literally every scene is going to be like putting a hot burning match near a fresh steam burn for them.
