"Armed with the identity of the Red Angel..." I don't like how this part of the official synopsis makes it seem as though this is something that has already been revealed, or that it's not an overly significant piece of information at all. Like, yeah-yeah, we find out who the Red Angel is, but then we get to the real important stuff!

This initial "identity of the Red Angel" is a red herring maybe?

Okay, WOW! That surprised even me. It was cleverly hinted at and subtle clues were, in retrospect, given therefore I can't call a foul on this.

Definitely going to watch it again.

    WOW!!!

    The Red Angel …

I have a hunch that some people will love it and others will be bitterly disappointed in it.

I'd bet the farm on it. I know it's risky...but I'm in a crazy mood today and making that early call.

I'm betting that I will be disappointed that they went for something safer than a lot of the predictions, but it will be within limits that I can live with. If the past two seasons are anything to go by, it won't be as deep a cut in the canon as some people are theorizing, and won't even be remotely related to anything from TNG. It's going to be something within the story lines of the particulars we've already seen and characters we know. It will change the game, but not radically.

    I will enjoy being wrong.

He even misspelled Kirk's middle initial wrong on his tombstone before trying to murder him. What an butthole

Maybe he could offhandedly slip an R in someone's name when talking to them "Captain Christopher R Pike, permission to come aboard?"

Dammit. Won't be able to watch this episode until weekend. I'll try my best to ignore this thread until then...
