I would love it. I think the casting for both characters is been great. And I’m just not interested in a Section 31 spinoff. Unfortunately for me.

The biggest regret I have about Season 2 so far is that Pike is going to go away at the end of it and we won't see more of Number One or any chance of the Pike-Era Enterprise.

Everything old is new again and I love it.

After seeing more and more episodes of season 2 of Discovery, I am more and more convinced I would love a Captain Pike spin-off. Any other who would welcome such a show after what they saw of Pike (and Spock) on the recent episodes?
I would! Before If memory serves was aired, I didn't believe that Ethan Peck would be proper Spock, but he is loveable and precise in this role. Want to see more of him.
In the contrary, I believed in Anson Mount immediately when he appeared in the 1st trailer. I admire his role in Inhumans, he was able to show thoughts and emotions without saying a word. As Pike he is absolutely brilliant and saves Discovery s02 like Lorca saved s01. So I dream about returning Jason Isaacs as Prime Lorca in s03 and returning the before-original Trek with "Enterprise" under Pike's command!

Then again, perhaps Pike joins S31, enamored by their patriotic actions during S2? We could have our cake and eat it.

I vote for this, it would only be possible of the producers did not place Discovery in the Prime TOS universe, in hindsight this should have been a complete reboot, then Pike would not have his tragic end. Give the guy a break!
