Number One was hardly in this season (even less than Vina), yet her return was hyped up while Vina's wasn't at all. There are only 4 episodes left in the season. Is she suddenly going to feature in all of them? The press coverage of Romijn's casting seems disproportional to her actual screentime so far. It only makes sense if she's going to feature in another show prominently.I doubt it. She just finished being in a series with less exposure and popularity than Trek.
The same suspicions about Notaro's role.Once I read it's stars people go to see movies for. I'm only watching DSC b/c it's the latest Trek, but a Mount/Pike Peck/Spock show I'd be enthused about. Romijn prob too big for a series?
Peck not answering that question about a spinoff really raised my Romulan eyebrow.
To quote a certain Starfleet Captain: "Make it so!"
I think they should do a Pike Enterprise spin-off, however they’d have to change Discovery enough to make it different. Maybe Discovery does a time jump at the end of season 2?

I'm now pretty much a billion percent sure the supposed Georgiou spin-off is really cover for a Pike/Enterprise series, which will also feature Tyler/L'Rell/Sarek as recurring characters.
Know what you mean can't recall much of discovery past pike and the enterprise, but not knocking poeple who enjot it too, as trek caters for allI haven’t watched it yet, but I would definitely go for a series set on the original 1701, especially if they did it episodically, five year mission, strange new worlds. War arcs and galactic anomalies didn’t get me hooked on Trek, and I can’t imagine more of them holding my attention for much longer.
