he is dead (as dead as a doornail) but he will be resurrected next epidode because he's desperately needed to comand a garbage scow on the k-7 run
Wouldn't being resurrected make him extraordinary? I think it's more likely that they'll appoint his cousin, Captain Jane Everywoman.

Long before the Ferengi, there was....'Quark'.

Actually, that's just fanon. It was never officially stated they were related at all. Honestly, I've always found it a bit of a stretch that just because they're both Everypeople with the same career, rank and position, they automatically have to be related too. Starfleet is big enough for hundreds if not thousands of unrelated Everypeople who only share a common surname.

How many would have been happy to see Empress Giorgiou in Ardala's costume from Buck Rogers?:
Quite a lot, I bet....
Not me. If the character never appeared in the show again, it would still be too soon for me. I don't care what she's wearing. Her continued presence is awful both in-universe and as a crutch for the show, and every character made to interact with her is made to look like an idiot for even tolerating her.

Meanwhile, Captain Georgiou? Give me more flashbacks of Burnham and Saru's time with her. She seemed like an interesting character.

nope - they resurrect everyone and their dog on trek so there is nothing to see here while a captain having a cousin who's also a captain is unheard of

6.

Lots of fives and sixes for me this season. Some things are working, others not so much.

I don't believe Kirk and Spock first met in 2265, they're too chummy.

I think it would have been better to say that was the first time we saw them together.

In my estimation, there's nothing that precludes the two of them meeting for the first time, about the same time that Kirk first meets Pike.
As far as we know, Pike & Spock pretty much go hand and hand up until the point where Kirk takes over command of the Enterprise.

I've never understood why some Star Trek fans revere Vulcans. They're largely dicks. Spock mostly became less of a dick by maturing and embracing his human side, especially through the movies. But he has his moments. Then when we see other prominent Vulcans, more often than not, dicks.
Pointed ears. They're extremely hot.
