Red Angel Theories- Post Here

If it wasn't for the fact that a Georgiou series was in development, I'd say was her. She definitely has ambitions if sorts, and trying to become a religious icon might not be beyond her. But I believe that getting her own series works against that for me.

Has anybody suggested it's Number One yet? I have no basis for it, but wouldn't rule it out right now.

The whole thing has got to be linked to Spock’s original vision. Michael gets attacked by a monster in a Vulcan forest, Spock saves her due to the Angel’s vision. I want to bet, that by the end of the series, the Angel has to undo it’s Interference in time, thus letting Michael die as a kid. A new timeline is created -where Michael dies young- and that is the timeline we know from TOS. Also, because the Angel has interfered with Discovery it will take the ship from this timeline and transport it 500 years in the future. From season 3 onwards, Discovery will be set post-VOY, with a duplicate Michael on board possibly. I’m probably not 100% right, but my guess is I’m pretty close to the mark...
Wow if this is the case, they are indeed taking the mandate to explain why Spock never mentioned Michael extremely literally and seriously...

If all of the Red Angels' actions are undone, it would also explain why we never saw a Kelpien anywhere else. The episode that saved their species would be undone.

I wonder if the ‘bad’ upgraded probe was sent back from a future AI set on destroying earth, vs the Red Angel... whoever / whatever that is...

With apologies for not having read all of the pages in this thread, has anyone factored in Georgiou's claim that she knows a lot more about Michael than Michael suspects, and that she's helping Michael out of, ah, Michael's goodness and not hers? Seems like there might be something fishy and time-travely happening there...

She probably just read things from the library database on the Defiant which is 10+ years ahead of Discovery.

Since Georgiou has read the Defiant's computer, which goes up to 2268, she might know how Burnham supposedly dies. And she definitely knows Pike's fate.

Georgiou might engineer a situation where Michael's death is faked, thus still allowing for the Defiant's computer to report her as dead while actually being alive.

Since she was her ward, I could see her looking up Michael's fate. But maybe not Pike - as the data would simply be too voluminous to read everything without specific intent.

It's the Backup Module Doctor after returning to Federation space in the far future.
