USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

Other than the lighting, painting and touchscreens, was there any difference between the two bridges?

The turbo lifts have moved even farther apart, almost to opposite sides (neither will really fit in the shape at the top of the Enterprise model any longer, but that’s a whole different issue).

they also lowered the Helm console by a few inches, for better sight lines on the actors sitting there.

this post over in Trek Art shows the differences well.

No love for the CV-6?

The digital chronometers over the viewscreen and the bridge stations. Also there was a ribbed padding of sorts under each console around the perimeter that wasn't there in TFF.

Er... yeah but they're the exact same model. The point is that you can't rank them if they're identical, save for the letter A.

Although technically it was USS Ranger in TVH ;) I wonder in which Trek show/movie we'll see the next Enterprise: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(CVN-80)
It's due to be operation by 2027, but I can see them filming some scenes on it before it's operational as part of some Navy/Star Trek promotion.

I never knew that!

It needs to be featured or shown in Star Trek (new rule I just came up with :D) It didn't show up in ENT opening scene, it would have been great there, so unfortunately it doesn't qualify.

I don't remember it being in Archer's ready room, but some sites have it included in the pictures he had there.

Still, an Enterprise is an Enterprise.

FWIW, the CV-6 did appear in the TMP rec room scene ("All those vessels were called Enterprise").

The CV-6 wasn't in one of the drawings hanging on the wall of Archer's ready room. That aircraft carrier was the CVN-65. Then again his wall was missing the ringship as well.

The displays of historic vessels named Enterprise are always missing some ships. They're always incomplete no matter what year the display was made.
