They really need to hire some cosplayers as costume designers...pretty sure they would be more of a bargain than current staff

I didn't think DC would let a major superman related character be turned into a violent psychopath on one of these DC Universe shows. Maybe its revenge for the lawsuit a few years ago involving Superboy. Thinking about what Titans will do with him, I guess seeing him burn people alive won't be particularly novel since "Starfire" already did it. but, hey, if this is based on the 90s Superboy, he could probably maim people with his "tactile Telekinesis" in ways that will make the nutjobs who run the show really happy. Since this ability lets Superboy take complex objects apart just by touching them, some (cheaply made, obviously) gore is certainly on the horizon.

That said, we all know the true reason they did this is so Superboy can do his version of "Fuck Batman". My guess? With the edgelords running this show, I'm betting Superboy calls Superman a d-bag, or maybe the c word if the show really does not give a shit.

His meltdowns over each little thing do make the thread more amusing than it might otherwise be.

Cool but since we have no idea when season 2 is out, it could be still a year way.

I think it's definitely worth a watch, but to me it makes more sense to just sub for a month and binge it.

It will be interesting to see what tone they do end up taking for season 2. There was a thread throughout the season of having gone too far and having lost their way so a course correction would not be out of the blue. I think being the first series there may be some growing pains and Doom Patrol has a different vibe to it that suggests that DCU is open to different approaches. I felt season 1 was trying too hard and that if they could dial back a notch it would work better (IMO at least).

Not a bit of casting that would have a occured to me, but he's a great choice.
I guess you just can't do Titans without Deathstroke popping up somewhere along the line, although I am a bit surprised to see him here since I thought it was out of bounds because of the movies.
